certainly this lyrics have many levels of meaning as only Fiona can do...

in my interpretation this song is about the loss of innocence/chilhood that comes from her tragic experience (or just with growing up for all of us); someone else think it's about abortion: the lines "strange inversion" and "vacancy that just did not belong" would suggest a physical and emotional emptiness that is consequence with an abortion , but I don't think so...what's your idea?

I was sexually abused at 4-5 by a teacher in preschool and one of my mothers boyfriends.my virginity was taken from me forcefully at age 14. @tetisheri1234819 skye I read them both and I am so impressed with your ability at syntax but was somewhat confused at first by the storyline. I was well into the characters and their personalities and was really fascinated with the dual time lines. Very unique. Cool and clever mind you have their kid. But don't be disheartened by my criticism. I was the same way with Asimov, Clarke, Silverberg and others during my heavy Sci_Fi period. I sometimes had to re-read to fully understand the story.
