  • good man, chuffed for him

  • LOL bottom of the market? This was in the middle of the Dot-Com boom wasn't it?

  • Probably not the smartest thing to call a boss for a $2 million question; what kind of a boss wants you to win a ton of money and quit your job?

  • God, I really miss this show's golden days, when winning a million wasn't so much a gimmick as an honest-to-God earned reward.

  • I thought it was le duc tho. Never heard of the name but it sounds like a wierd tibetan monk type of name that would reject the prize cos it sounds like the name of a stupid peace loving tibetan monk buddist wierdo.

  • @MrPonko On the contrary, he was a communist pro-war hawk.

  • in case anybody cares, gary gambino appeared as a contestant on JEOPARDY! on Friday April 2, 2010.

  • My friend knew the answer to this.

  • It's hard to turn down an extra $1.5 million. Let's imagine how Gary would have felt if Schweitzer WAS the correct answer.

  • @ChiSportsNut18 Even if it was the answer, I don't think he'd feel bad about it. I mean, he really had no idea and his phone a friend was guessing. That's why unlike Ken Basin, Gary walked away.

  • I was disappointed when Gary decided to quit. I don't blame him though.

  • Who is the only winner of the Nobel Peace Prize to decline the prize?

    A. Albert Schweitzer

    B. Le Duc Tho

    C. Andrei Sakharov

    D. Aung San Suu Kyi

  • @CraigFoye80 you and your amazing listening skills

  • Definitely a tough question for $2 million. You would have to know a lot about the Vietnam War to know this tidbit and win the prize. I don't think many people could give you the answer to this.

  • cowboymacleod everyone will agree with u if u just put the same comment in ONCE!!!!!!

  • Le Duc Tho declined the prize beacue there was no peace during the Vietnam War. What a great way to give up the nobel peace prize, I guess

  • There was also no peace in his country during the Vietnam War

  • I have to admit, he does sound like Ray Romano.
