It's cute. I liked the use of celebrities, but too bad its confusing to someone trying to learn. The only words it shows in print are spelled WRONG!!!!! INSTANTLEEEEEEE!!!!! OH NO!!!!! If its supposed to be educational, don't mess it up like that. I can't show this as a teaching tool.

@Miracle490d So I never made this as a teaching tool...I made this for fun, actually. People have just taken it and assumed it's for teaching. And I know it's "instantly." I made it like that because the song is about the letter "E" so...instantl-EEE.

I haven't checked on this or heard the video in 7mos., but I think I meant the explanation points and OH NO as a laughing shake your head OH NO or I wouldn't have said it was cute. I was never angry. A few seem to think my comment was horrid. I guess this is an example of writing without tone not translating so well. I thought it was obvious when I wrote it. But instantl-EEE isn't exactly a SILENT E, is it? LOL Maybe you left out silent E. Like I said, havent seen in 7.

Cute - adding the words to the song, i.e. cub - cube, twin - twine, Sam - same - would help kids learn this concept better. Still prefer a direct, systematic, multi-sensory approach to teaching reading called Sing, Spell, Read & Write ( which by the way, has a two-vowel song and silent e song and dance built into the program..) Enjoy!

The US is more and more demanding bilingualism (English and Spanish). Here in San Antonio, it's absolutely essential that you know at least some Spanish (and jobs pay more if you're fluent in both).

I studied French in school and college, but don't get a chance to use it much anymore - unless I'm up home on the Ontario/Quebec border....

I'm not sure all canadians...Definitely Quebecers though, except for the french, they go out of their way to not learn English. Come to think of it where I live it's about 80% English. It was on a TV show called "The Electric Company", which was supposed to be for kids who were slightly older than "Sesame Street"'s target audience.of course, I watched both shows for several years.
