07/2011. Discovered the front beam is a Old Speed. Rancho is building a Pro Street tansaxle. I am building a 1776 cc engine with Weber 40 IDF's. Wiring is half done. Working on a new interior with no rear seat. Machined a Hebmuller script for the deck.
I purchased this car April 13, 2011. I am working on restoring and updating it now. The wheels will be replaced with BRM's. The interior is getting a face lift. The car has a narrowed front beam with dropped spindles and a poor ride. Replacement coming. The engine is nothing outstanding, will be replaced. New wiring, brakes, tires, transaxle, steering and lights in the works. I am machining up a license light today. Tossing around bumper replacement ideas. I have gotten good response on the car.
@bux49 Ron, I cant wait to see what you make of it. i am sure it will be a head turner. I would look at lots of Hebmuller pictures on google search of all images to get ideas for bumpers and more. Enjoy the transformation and Keep me posted as you can please.
