i think changing her hair color really helped create the distinction that she WASN't playing Sam Carter. It was Magnus all the way!

I just love Amanda tapping as Col. Samantha Carter. She is beautiful and quite talented. Love the tribute to her hairstyles here, mostly taken from Stargate SG-1. She did have long blond hair in a couple episodes in SG-1, when she was portrayed as Capt. Samantha Carter from an alternate reality. Season 1 Episode 20 "There But for the Grace of God" is one of them (the one where she and General Jack O'Neill were engaged)

I don't like the long messy hair, I guess when one is busy with filming and such. Not much time ot actually go out and get a hair cut that your producers will like. Season 2 and 10 I think are my fav's - I don't like the really long or the very short. I had no idea she went brunette - but I guess if one wants to try something new...
