montezoma, I've so much "constructive" to say on topic of peace (whether it be man-to-God or man-to-man, or peace within oneself), that I have made many Playlists that can be found by clicking through the top-center Playlist link on my page. Ultimately God will establish the harmony He intended, but Islam is not content to wait for that eventuality, but in obedience to Quran which first forbade, then permitted, but now obligates jihad, fighting for peace is prescribed. (cont'd) My ideas for peace in the Middle East set aside my Christian bias favoring Israel & I would ask Muslims to set aside theirs, though in their case they can't b/c it is prescribed to fight for their deity, so that's the problem. In a pluralistic world we either are going to have to (1) admit this is a religious, namely Islamic, problem (tho yes, I know, some Arab Christians are involved) & openly argue merits of the faiths, or (2) proceed to judge on basis of law, history & morality
