As someone who was a dedicated Christian for over 30 years, I understand the belief that to be a Christian means to believe in a loving God who forgives your sins and wants you to live in paradise. But now I wonder how can I possibly worship someone who threatens to torture my children forever if they don't worship him? I can neither prove my opinion nor change yours, but I was wondering if you have heard of the Observer's Effect. It is a theory of quantum physics that states that nothing can happen without being observed. It is what make me believe in a God. It's a tormenting thought when you begin to believe in that form of God, that you may never have the answers you want... I for one tried desperately to believe, but it wasn't in me. I was a much better person and I genuinely cared about people much more before I was scared of being judged... of suffering eternally because I didn't fully grasp what this mysterious god figure was really saying. It's allot to live up to and even most Christians don't even scratch the surface.

APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. There's no hard evidence that humans evolved from ape-like creatures anymore than there's hard evidence that apes evolved from four-legged-pawed dog-like creatures. ALL REAL EVOLUTION ( i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.) in nature is the expression, over time, of already existing genes. Evolution is possible only if there’s information (genes) directing it. Only variations of already existing genes are possible, which means only limited evolution and adaptations are possible.
