How did yall get this crow? Ive had 3 pet crows and they are the coolest pets in the world. I would let them free range and they would return every morning to visit by pecking on our windows ha ha
@TylerCosby07 You should teach them to say "gimme food" to people then people will feed them and then the other crows will see it and copy them and pretty soon all the crows will be doing it hahhhahaha
Crows are not given the amount of credit they are due. They are smart, without a doubt. Even though it's illegal to own a native crow, in my state, I can see why people would want one due to their intellect. Tamed..they are a handfull, demanding attention from thier owners. Like a Jack Russell with wings.
my crow dd the same.he spoke imitated d dogs.lovbirds,parrots.but one day he flew away and dd not return.maybe his girlfriend took him to der own next.
@coolsupermarioplayer If they can kill them! Crows are notoriously hard to hunt. My grandfather hunted everything, and all his life could never get a crow.
Joe did return. He broke his wing this summer. We did our best to patch him up. He can still fly but probably not as well as he did before. He still remembers us and still hates my sister. LOL
aww he cuddles! he gave up this time, it's hard. I mean it's hard as it is for our own species, takes years of constant attention, and wild animals come and hang out with us for a bit and learn so quickly.
@ccher9 But he isn't associating concepts with the sounds he's making, unlike human children. Most birds that mimic like that can learn what other species' of birds sounds mean (like mockingbirds) but as far as human speech, I don't think he really knows what he's saying.
Of all the bird species, the "Corvid family" of birds, is by FAR the most intelligent. I've been in the avian field, for nearly 20yrs now, and it never ceases to amaze me, what these birds are capable of. This includes; Ravens (Crows' larger cousins), Jays, Magpies, Rooks, Jackdaws, and Clarks Nutcracker. So next time you see these birds folks, try and appreciate them a little more, as they do MUCH more good, than bad to our animal environment.
@tomtalker2000 i agree! i love bluejay's especially! we had one that came around and she was the sweetest thing, but quite jealous of other birds! ( she was jealous of my budgies :) ) she used to immitate the doorbell and the microwave! she's passed on now but her parents still come by every spring and spend time with us in the yard. Such amazing and intelligent creatures!

All with these people thinking that a crow would peck your eyes out.
Most likely, the crow is indentify the eye as a bodypart.
A chicken close to your face might do it because chicken are dumb as hell.
