@pixxieness Not silly at all! You can buy it at any sewing or crafting supply store. It will be mixed in with the other elastic and probably say 'lingerie'. If you can't find it then ask a store associate for help and they should be able to point you right to it :)

Hi I would love to know which sewing machine you used for this. We have an old singer one at home but it can't sew cotton fabric :S I would love some help cuz my fingers hurt a lot from sewing by hand :P

@pot0tin I used a singer that is about 15-20 years old. It had straight, zig zag, and buttonhole options. I don't know the make or model of it because it was given to my husband. You can see the whole sewing machine at 1:00 into the video.

@bpereztab With underwear elastic I don't measure before sewing it on. Because it's so soft it is much more forgiving then regular elastic. What I do is stretch the elastic a medium amount while sewing it on and then trim the extra at the end. It's worked every time for me. Hope that helps :)

I was in Oklahoma last year (from Nebraska) and Nebraska was having blizzards every week and all the stores were sold out of snow blowers so we thought we'd try to buy one in Oklahoma-- apparently no one in Oklahoma knows what a snow blower is because they kept trying to sell us leaf blowers. lol enjoy the snow!

@emilysNOThxc Awesome! Hopefully it will work out this time! BTW I sometimes have problems with the leg opens being a little too high cut in the back so I then go back and edit my pattern after making the first pair. So you may want to make a practice pair, make any changes needed to your pattern, and then make a pair with a totally awesome shirt :)

Love these!! I made them for my teen for Christmas using one of her old Twilight T shirts... she now HATES Twilight so I put Edward's face on the booty area. I love that she has one-of-a-kind undies. 'Cept she still won't wear them with Edward's face on them...
