This is not opinion, Blizzard has put over 1000% more dedication to their games than Jagex has put into their main one. I'm 17. I think one reason why people don't play world of war craft is that it cost quit a bit of money for all the disks and then also the noting fee. also some computers may dimply not be able to install it so they pLay runes ape instead. Iv played both games and like them equally but runescape is a more relaxed game where as wow us more intense. Both games can be fun but over time it will feel like ur grinding through it. That happens with everything even in real life.
You say Runescape is a grind, and I agree. However, you will, sooner or later, realize that WoW is just as much so. You run your dailies, cap your weekly points, grind gear, farm the same instance for 11 fucking months and then have the pleasure of doing it over again with a shit alt or during the next tier. Such is the way of basically every MMO.
@TheEsuohdla you are right, however there is much more challenge and pleasure to WoW Runescape you buy gold and you can be the best with the gear and lucky crits. WoW requires more knowledge and ARENA and BG'S are amazing really challenging. and the fun factor is really out of this world when you get the 1.8k +
@Eldineo I played at 1.8k rated BG and 2.5k 3v3 arena, it loses its charm when youve played thousands of arena matches. Though I will admit WoW in general was a large amount more fun for me than RS, and certainly requires more skill.

When you do a quest you might have to kill a special mob to get a special item somethimes they even add cutscenes, And in runescape when you grind you just sit there doing the same over and over and over and over again. But on world of warcraft they even make diffrent dailies when you grind them. Diffrent missions, And when you get further you get good rewards. When you grind on runescape you acoplish a high skill. But noone cares
@framar601 Unless your a casual player who never clears all the content, you end up grinding the same instance for 11 months or so until they bring out new shit, then you do it again. You grind your same dailies, your random heroic. Trust me, after a while of playing it all gets boring. Even arena becomes samey, where you have to grind X number of BGs and arena games to grind out your gear, so you can grind hundreds of arena games to get gladiator. In the end it all gets boring and grindy.

Of course when you're new to a game, you've lots to explore but in the end, IT WILL BE BORING. When you've reached your limit, you will lose interest because you've completed most of your goals and you realize you've nothing else to do. That's when you venture on to something new.

I have experience of both games, and I still play BOTH games. However Never do I play both at the same time, for example I will play RS for a period of time and then play WoW for a period of time. I think Warcraft is allot more serious and mature the players are more laid back (at least on my realm) However, from past experiences do one thing bad and people take it to heart. With Runescape there are allot more kids. The game is allot simpler and easy but i always go back to it and check it out
I don't play wow, I do play rs, and games like Runes of Magic and Allods Online, but wow is better than all of them, only reason I don't play is because it's too expensive.

Clan Citadels have been added to Runescape, its like a castle for clan meetings/events/community chatting and idk its just like a hotel for clans i guess.
Just an idea, but what you could do is put the money into an item, or store it in the ge and keep a certain amount, that way you know you still have it, but with not touching it. It might make it feel slightly better achieving things. You'll figure something out anyways.

@Eldineo I played at 1.8k rated BG and 2.5k 3v3 arena, it loses its charm when youve played thousands of arena matches. Though I will admit WoW in general was a large amount more fun for me than RS, and certainly requires more skill.

@TheEsuohdla Mate listen... Wow is a diffrent sort of grinding... When you do a quest you might have to kill a special mob to get a special item somethimes they even add cutscenes, And in runescape when you grind you just sit there doing the same over and over and over and over again. But on world of warcraft they even make diffrent dailies when you grind them. Diffrent missions, And when you get further you get good rewards. When you grind on runescape you acoplish a high skill. But noone cares

@framar601 Unless your a casual player who never clears all the content, you end up grinding the same instance for 11 months or so until they bring out new shit, then you do it again. You grind your same dailies, your random heroic. Trust me, after a while of playing it all gets boring. Even arena becomes samey, where you have to grind X number of BGs and arena games to grind out your gear, so you can grind hundreds of arena games to get gladiator. In the end it all gets boring and grindy.

@framar601 Right .. no one would care if you don't have friends. But it definitely is just boring grinding across all MMORPG's, it doesn't matter what kind. Of course when you're new to a game, you've lots to explore but in the end, IT WILL BE BORING. When you've reached your limit, you will lose interest because you've completed most of your goals and you realize you've nothing else to do. That's when you venture on to something new.

I have experience of both games, and I still play BOTH games. However Never do I play both at the same time, for example I will play RS for a period of time and then play WoW for a period of time. I think Warcraft is allot more serious and mature the players are more laid back (at least on my realm) However, from past experiences do one thing bad and people take it to heart. With Runescape there are allot more kids. The game is allot simpler and easy but i always go back to it and check it out

Just an idea, but what you could do is put the money into an item, or store it in the ge and keep a certain amount, that way you know you still have it, but with not touching it. It might make it feel slightly better achieving things. You'll figure something out anyways.
