i find intervention pretty entertaining, and it sucks that i can't find as many episodes on here as i used to be able to BUT everone watching this should know that this show is cut cut and cut, only showing THE most spectacular moments that occur in a MUCH longer time.

I think a lot of people just don't want to take the responsibility to be a better person. I have been Mentally and Physically abused as a child and turned out fine. Never touched one oz of any drug or Cig in my life. Also I have ADHD. So it was double whammy for me. I am proof that if you want to you can do anything. Unless you have some severe form of an issue that absolutely prevents you from doing so.

@RoteFedern like most of my friends, i smoke pot on occasion. I'm perfectly content to make it a fun thing that i do at parties or when i'm jamming. (and for the record, it's all i ever do. I don't even drink) Because i'm a responsible person who has healthy coping mechanisms, i have no reason or desire to smoke to excess.

mmhmm meth is so bad. She's talkin bout angels and devils, my uncle has been a meth addict since he was 13...he is in his 50's now. it has ruined many lives in my family. he sees aliens and pyramids and ufo's and devils...it's just so sad. it ruins lives.

@ktown4life1337 sorry, what I meant to say was he has been on and off, on and off since then. But he has been in and out of prison because of it and detox clinics. He is doing it now. I know how old he is and how old he was when he started getting into it....what do you want from me? I never meant he did it strait for that long.

It's hard, once you're addicted, you're addicted! Whatever it is your drinking or taking, it owns you and rules your entire life and changes you, it's always for the worst.

You may not have intentions of hurting family and true friends, but it affects them almost as much as yourself.

@visionimagify you know there is a difference in responsibility and just downright uncontrollable behavior, im proof and a lot of people are that say you can experiment and not get addicted, its all just responsibility.. now if you have depression and anxiety issues, or just have problems in life and drugs is what you turn too, then i strongly advise not to.. oh and calling me names isnt very mature of you..

@MrShane737 But that's exactly the problem!! Many addicts didn't know before that they were probably more at risk to become addicts. Some people are definitely more prone biologically to be addicted than others. I do agree with you that taking drugs should be done responsably, meaning that you should know what you're taking, not buying stuff from some guys on the street, know what you can mix and what not. But in the end, nothing at all can guarantee you that you're not gonna end up hooked.

im actually they have a show like this, having experience with hard drugs and the atmosphere of it - you see i think its okay to experiment but not get addicted, cause experimentation just makes more aware, like smoking a joint once in a while with friends and talking about the concepts of reality, thats what im for, NOT ADDICTION
