@johnnyownsu a good cheap settup would be: broad bolts, karils top and bottom (or prosthelite legs if u can) ava's acumulator, archers ring, veracs helm, barrows gloves, bandos boots and a guthix zammy or armadyl book (can be swapped out for dragon square sheild) hope this helped :)

Can someone please answer a question for me? I've never killed Jad before. I've tried, but failed every time for one reason or another, almost always my fault. I've got... 84 Att 90 Str 85 Def 77 or 78 (Forgot) range 85 Prayer (With curses) 99 Mage And about 60 - 80 mil I will happily spend on supplies or armor. Should I melee it, range it or mage it? Also roughly what gear should I bring for either one, assuming it's different than in the video? :o

Best guide out there for 1 DEFENCE pures, ive try all the other methods from other guides and I never got to wave 63. After watching this guide and part 2 I actually made it to jad and got my first fire cape with 7 brews 7 super restore left. And jad is easy guys problem with 1 DEFENCE pures is getting to jad not killing jad, oh btw I am maxed with 1 def and 45 prayer.

5 minutes ago I was doing the caves. I got to the last wave (62), and started killing Jad.

Everything went OK. As you said, concentrate on the Jad's attacks, that's what I did and I got it to half HP. Now, the healers came. I attacked them one at a time and got them attacking me, still looking on Jad. I concentrated too much on the Jad and died, because healers had killed me REALLY fast. I'm really fusthrated atm. I was so close!

Good guide but for me not working, your pure setup contains way too less saradomin brews to survive all the waves with magic and ranging attacks. I got fire cape 3 times on my pure using 1 prayer renewal (4) 1 ranging potion (4) 13 brews and 13 super restores

Wave 42 at this moment and i must admit, doing fight caves to wave 62 is piece of cake ON main accounts with high defences, but doing it on pure and when you cant lure and there are 360's and 90's and you have to pray magic which means tank rangers is fucking annoying..

They can hit pretty high so in my opinion, 1-62 is fucking harder than jad itself..

Tip for low levels if you're low on hp and don't want to waste al your brews/sweets just lure the remaining monsters behind a rock and just wait for your hp to go up again ig you have the patience for it :P<
