Branded entertainment!! Great to see brands and producers in Trinidad taking advantage of this concept. This is the new music business! Vitamin water and 50 cent formed a similar partnership and several brands including red bull are now performing the functions of record labels. Well done!

VW was 1 product made by Energy Brands. 50 Cent was granted a 10% stake in that company as an endorsement, to promote the brand via commercials, songs etc. When Energy Brands was sold to Coke by its founders 50 was paid for his share of VW- it was not his company.No need to be condescending, while it may be a fun ad, I was merely commending our local producers on embracing new music business models- in seeking to monetize music as record sales decline!
