  • they should do a GTA clone in Cryengine! would be awesome if rockstar got some real competition so the games can become even greater!

  • GTA V (Five) Engine

  • xD ja mann xD

  • I didn't blink once while the whole video, now my eyes hurt >.<

  • hope gta V gets this graphics!!!! :D

  • its the cryengine...

  • man, this looks shit...

  • 2:50 Dr. Helena Rosenthal from Crysis 1

  • Did she say Devlopment?

  • Epic!!!!

  • looks nice but for fucks sake, turn the saturation down. it almost looks like vice city.

also: higher detailled cars would rock.

  • Wasted on FPSs.

  • Enodo boss: we must make this like so real.

okay, add more peoples of many stereotypes, add criminals and guns

Enodo staff: ....so we making this a gta game, boss?

    Enodo boss: it's for realism.

  • why don't you get this, It's not a game, and it's definitely not GTA. It is Crytek's CryEngine 3, the most advanced gaming engine in the world.

  • @da3dsoul "cough" UDK "cough"

  • what game is that

  • gta ftw

  • holy fuck crytek is awsome!!

  • ive searched for gta5 in google... sry fm bad english

  • Sky and TOD needs work.

  • "A step closer to reality."

    "Immersive"

    "Photo realistic"

and yet not a single bird, piece of trash or even a rain puddle to be seen. In fact i can't even find any storm drains. again people seem to fail in understanding the idea of a living enviroment. This is nothing but a glorified graphics engine.

  • @kankadaou : I see it too. But I hope that will come along the way, I have a feeling that this aint complete yet. Every prototype has it's faults.

  • Voiced by computer. Creates a believable modern day civilization. Does it come with a brain plug? This is some matrix shit in here.

  • What makes this any different from GTA IV's engine? It had rain, people reacting to rain, traffic, high-res textures and nice looking buildings.

  • GTA V. In San Andreas. Using this as an engine.

  • Cyberdyne Systems and Skynet all over the place!

  • so this the the world we will be plugged into when the machines take over

  • So this is the engine GTA V (5) will be used.

  • @NathanIsDOWN wait till you go on a rampage also I think the game will take place in San Andreas because california police use black and white cars and so does las vegas nevada which SA is based on

  • I SEES A SMART CARS!

  • @GamePlayer0204 : It's not really SMART cars, it's some concept car Mitsubishi showed about 6 years ago now. But I agree, they look like some kinda smart car :).

  • @RandomTJ You do mean the one at 2:16 don't you?

  • @GamePlayer0204 : Yup, that one too :D.

  • *-*

  • ich glaub ich hab mich gerade nass gemacht vor geilheit... Wär das Hammer wenn das nächste GTA so aussehen würde

  • versteht mich ned falsch aber hab ne latte

  • this is gonna be epic

  • shiiiiit this is AWESOME!!!!

  • What do you think gaming looks like in 5 or 10 years :D

    ABSOLUTELY MINDFUCKING!!!!

  • WOW that's amazing!

  • devLOPment

  • plz someone call an ambulance i got an heartattack....this looks so fuc... awesome.

  • I CAME

  • Instead of using capture_frames 1 to capture the 3d footage from the CryEngine to 720p footage, you should have used e_screenshot -1 along with e_screenshot_width 5120 and e_screenshot_height 2880. That would effectively export the frames with 4x super sampling. Resizing them down to 1280x720 would then provide an extremely clear image with no jagged edges whatsoever.

    Just a tip :)

  • @MouthofSaurons You'd lose most of the post-process effects because of the way e_screenshot works; terrain AO, depth of field, even bloom are compromised because they work in screen space, and since e_screenshot just stitches many screen-sized images together, you end up with a scaled effect, in the case of your suggestion, a 4x size decrease.

Capture-frames still remains the best method for frame capture.

  • @MoonlightArtist Yeah, I forgot that. But it would still be nice if they could try to get rid of the jagged edges :)

  • Is this made with 3rd version of CryEngine or with 2nd?

  • @defaxer 2nd.

  • @defaxer the second, but I have been at a Games Convention and I have to say, Cryengine 3 does look better. forget the video's on the internet, they don't show anything of the power of CE3

  • CRYTEK FTW!!!!

  • cool :D
