  • This is a good video and a good message.

    Hooray.

  • Mr. Edwards,

I'm so excited about your candidacy! If you are elected, I trust your word that you will raise taxes more. Since 50% of my income goes towards taxes already, I'll be better off collecting welfare or I'll file for Soc Security benefits because I get charlie horses + my hemorrhoids have been giving me trouble lately. I certainly won't have to worry about a health ins policy anymore with you in office! I'll have everything I need. Good luck John!

  • if he an't an eiltist why the hell did he have Carry as a running mate .if he can get a 400.oo hair cut I don't think i can aford the medical plan he has in the future for me or any body else for that matter.

  • *heart*

  • sefsufi is smoking some good shit!!! what an idiot!!

  • Afta 7 military investigations, propaganda press n media manipulations, da Bush administration damn lied to ur nation, indicatin first dat Pat died in combat, den stating Tillman got shot up by his comrades, but now we knw s murder n d coverup s fact, Bush wacked him in da back to silence up da public chat... about iraq. R.I.P Pat, the truth s comin out dnt wory bout dat!

  • He talks about high health care cost and it´s legal transmorans like edwards who have helped run the cost up in his frivlous law suits. And now the answer is to socialize america! Just give it away because it will never affect people like edwarts.

  • Frivluos laws suits?? You mean like the one JOHN EDWARDS DEFENDED when a small child was DEBOWLED from a faulty pool drain and the insurance company did NOT want to pay Up for her healhcare??

    Hello?? ARE U AWAKE??

  • A midget has a much better chance of winning the Democratic election. Yikes! We love our dwarves in Canada and try to use them whenever we can in a positive light. A lot more people would watch the debate if you guys would hire midgets to host the debates. Mix seriousness with hard core laughter!

  • What the hell is John Edwards doing trying to run for president? Didn't he learn his lesson when he fucked up with John Kerry? He's nothing but a big bullshitter. Frivilous law suits are his forte. Why depend on a lying douche? I say that we all get a common working man to run for office. I do not claim myself as democrat or republican because both sides are a disgrace.

  • WE THE PEOPLE respectfully request that the President of the United States of America, each member of Congress' House of Representatives and each member of Congress' Senate honor their oaths of office to uphold the Constitution.

  • REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES

  • The Constitution of the United States of America is a strongly worded, Divinely inspired, set of principles expressly intended to govern the government, not the People.

  • Love his sentiment, just not sure if I can believe any politician anymore.

  • hmmm

  • For the view of an average person about Mitt Romney. Check out my videos on why I like Mitt, what his policies are, and why I think he views are good for the country! Just click on my username to check them out!

  • GET Em JOHN!!!! THIS MAN IS THE VERY ESSENCE OF COURAGE!!! GO EDWARDS!

  • RIGHT ON!!!!

  • He keeps talking about "they"... when in fact "he" is "they"... give me a break.

  • John Edwards - CFR (D) Rudy Giuliani - CFR (R) Hillary Clinton - CFR (D) John McCain -- CFR (R) Barack Obama -- CFR (D) Mitt Romney -- CFR (R) Christopher Dodd -- CFR (D) Fred Thompson -- CFR (R) Bill Richardson -- CFR (D) Jim Gilmore -- CFR (R) Joseph Biden -- CFR (D) Newt Gingrich -- CFR (R) Search y-tube "CFR / NAU"
  • "The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence and submergence into an all powerful, one world government." -- Admiral Chester Ward, former CFR member and Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Navy.

  • the federal government has no right or responsibility to decide on the issue of abortion in any way, shape or form. period. end of story. it's a devise issue that detracts from serious federal issues like our foreign policy and the failure of our government at all three branches to thwart constitutionally illegal activities (the so-called patriot act, the so-called war on terror, etc.)

  • the reason health care is so expensive is because the government was convinced to get involved by creating HMOs. screw universal healthcare - get the federal government out of health care altogether. you think it will be free? 2 words: tax money. that we could spend better on our own with small government and independent health care.

  • Universal Healthcare...it's time has come...go see sicko

  • Oh all the guff about the haircut. You're all right. I would NEVER want a candidate who was successful in his life to be President.

  • Wow, Edwards talking about special interests. How touching. Let's believe him. Oh shiat, what's this? "The Bilderberg Group"? Whatever could that be? Oh, I'm sure it's nothing. Let's just listen to his words. He doesn't need to prove his commitment.

  • Ok, I'll give you another reason I don't like him. He actually thinks partial birth abortion should be a constitutionally protected option. If he can't see the obviously heinous nature of this procedure on an unborn fetus, then this man's sense of right and wrong is flipped.

  • "Partial birth abortion" isn't a medical term. The correct term is "intact dilation and extraction." It's the most sensible and humane option in cases where the fetus can't survive and delivering it normally would harm the woman, such as in cases of hydrocephalus in which the fetus's head is the size of a basketball.

  • $400 haircuts. Nuf said.

  • Why is that "Nuf said". When George Bush Sr. or Ronald Reagan got paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to speak at a (sc)Amway rally did you call them phonies for pandering to that disreputable group? Yeah, some staffer brought in some expensive Hollywood hairstylist for a last minute haircut and the guy charged $400. So that makes Edwards a phony? Huh? Anyway, I should have said he "defines decency", not "denies decency". :)

  • A $400 haircut which he paid for out of his own pocket. And?

  • In response to phoenixmeow who wrote: "$400 haircuts. Nuf said." Right...........because it's sooo much easier than talking about $400 billion dollar spent on a bogus war.

  • looking good and taking pride in ones self isn't a crime

  • After seven years of Bush effectively destroying the fabric of this nation it is going to be a massive job to undo the damage. I think Edwards is most up to the challenge. If he wins my faith in America will be restored. If a Republican or Hillary wins I'll just be left shaking my head. Go John Go!

  • This guy defines phoney.

  • This guy denies decency. He's the only one who has concrete ideas on how to help the dwindling American middle class. This country is facing serious problems and Edwards has the best ideas about how to fix them. I would say take the time to visit his website but it's useless with you. You probably are gonna vote for whichever douchebag the Republicans nominate.

  • watch this video!

  • fucking looser!

  • NEED MORE YOUTUBE PLAYS??? GET ON THE YOUTUBE TRAIN AT viewtubetrain*net use me as the referrer!

  • The question was not about this, it was about running with a republican, and who they would choose. This shows they avoid the real questions to give the answers they have prepared in advance. They can not think for themselves. Or at least he can't.

  • I hate the politicians that think their hand gestures will have a positive impact on what they are saying. Fire your consultants, ans speak from the heart.

  • I wanna ask what you gonna do about that Patriot Act law. Bush signed it into law right after 9/11 so that he can have all the confidential information/data from bank, agencies, hospital, telephone company & many more. You don't know what he is doing with that.. Impeach Bush and trash that stupid Patriot Act, NOW.

  • This man pays $400.00 for a hair cut...he no clue about the average american...

  • Oh give it a rest already. Your just jealous because you are probably paying about $4. If $400 would make my husband look like that, I would consider it money well spent.

  • The point is irrelevant. I wonder how much W. pays for haircuts...on YOUR dime.

  • Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards are all CFR(Council on Foreign Relations)! Don't believe me?!?! Google: "Creating a North American Community" The CFR is a think tank for the North American Union!! Wake up people and don't vote for anyone that is a member! Republicans too!

  • And this is bad, why?

  • you have a husband WOW...poor guy

  • Homeland: "WOW". . . Is that the best you could come up with. You didn't answer my question. Let me ask it again. AND THIS IS BAD, WHY?

  • Personal insults are SO cool.

  • Hi I'm Rose, and I really like the people on youtube, really sexy and hot and friendly!~ Anyway I uploaded a video about the Time Cube, just to explain it to you all! Some guys said they liked it, they thought I was cute...

  • I believe that Edwards has the integrity, charisma AND the ability to save us from another Bush/Cheney type dictatorship the Republicans have used to torpedo the Constitution and this great Country! Most likely WHY the Republicans are so scared of Edwards - he will represent the American PEOPLE. The Faux Folks want to focus on Edwards' haircuts to divert the ignorant masses from what is truly happening in this country! Sen. Edwards, You treat your wife with respect, you've got MY VOTE!

  • AMEN. DO NOT GIVE THESE SOBS A FREAKING BLANK CHECK. NO 600.000,000 million $ base being built in Iraq.

  • thats nothing really...compare to 500 BILLION! spent in iraq

  • PREACH IT MY BROTHER! Pro-union, battled the giants in court, supports constructive responses to poverty, votes with a conscious, isn't afraid to point at our ever so naked emporer. This is the kind of President we desperately need.

  • Right on, JOHN! Someone should tell the public what trial lawyers really do. See the InjuryBoard YouTube video for the other side of the "frivolous lawsuit propaganda" story.

  • Edwards also stands behind unionized workers. He believes that if they go on strike ,a company should not be able to hire scabs to replace the strikers.

Its about time we have a candidate that stands up for American workers.

  • EDWARDS IS A TRIAL LAWYER. HE IS A SPECIAL INTEREST. The only people he has fought are doctors.

  • not true.

  • not only that, his wife has a terminal illness and she's too busy making his campaign speeches for him. the poor woman is running harder for john edward more than john himself is.

  • Well, that's her choice, isn't it? She's a grown woman; she can do what she pleases. Has *nothing* to do with his credentials as a candidate.

  • HE HAS NO CREDENTIALS. He lost his own state in 2004 when he was running for vice president. The only thing he uses to get money is his hair, Ann Coulter, and his wife's illness. He says the war on terror is a bumpersticker, effectively mocking those who died in the war and those who died in 9/11. NO CREDENTIALS.

  • The whole 'hair' episode reminded me of the Swift Boaters & their incredible & ultimately successful attempt to divert attention from real issues. "They" are always trying to define the issue in ways that do not reflect reality. Remember when they said Dems would be soft on defense, so we nominated a veteran. Then they attack the veteran so that America forgets their candidate was a coward. The only people mocking veterans are the GOP.

  • Exactly. That's the Rove strategy: Always attack the enemies strength. Edwards is a true populist, so of course they need to smear that.

  • Bravo, Edwards! You are the only one who really understands what the people need and want. And you are the only one who will be able to achieve it!

  • Best line of the debate. Right here.

  • Yup, it really says it all.

  • hot damn! this is exactly what democrats need to say. triangulation (clinton) and compromise (obama) will not beat back the forces that are turning america into a feudal society. wow. this guy has got my support.

  • That was a good clip. I think Edwards would make a WONDERFUL vice president under Ron Paul. :)

  • Ron Paul doesn't have a health care plan - neither does Hillary. However, she is raking in the corporate moolah from the Insurance and Pharma industries.

We know whose interests she'll promote.

  • I trust Edwards the way I have not trusted any other politician in my life. I am certainly voting for him. A man who understands that it is criminal in this wealthy country that a guy has a cleft palate till age 50 is worthy of my vote. A guy who understands that most of us are not well to do and still matter is worthy of my vote!

  • Its easy to feel like this is the wealthiest country on earth when you fly in on your private jet to do a gig. Who is going to pay all the cost of this? You and I working people that's who through skyrocketing taxes!

  • the people whose taxes need to go up are people who make over $200,000 per year. that's fair taxation.

  • Yes! I trust John Edwards too. He speaks in specifics - rather than the typical meaningless political mumbo jumbo.

  • Ron Paul is a good canidate and would make a great run for the money if he can win the republican elections. I do not see him to be able to get the votes.

  • This was a great point by Edwards. Do you think he will follow through with this if he gets into office?

  • Yes! why do you think the corporate media that represents the Insurance and Pharma industries has been smearing him for months?

They KNOW Edwards means what he says - and has fought for the little guys and WON!

  • He is so good looking. I could not stop looking at him during the debate. He has beautiful eyes.

  • High Five to E! We all need to take these issues on as a country. Edwards is prepared to make changes and take on the corporate world who unjustly has been controlling our country. How much more can we take? Send the message we've all had enough and want big change in the White House by putting people first in the US, NOT industries and corporations! Edwards, hands down is the person for the job!

  • DENNIS KUCINICH, a true PROGRESSIVE, has a history of publicly fighting the corporate interests, even way back in the '70's in Cleveland... so much that a "hit" contract was even put out on him. Check out the Conyers-Kucinich Health Care Bill,HR 676,which is endorsed by the New Hampshire state legislature, 14,000 physicicans, & 250 unions representing working people.

  • Just before the 2004 Iowa primary, Kucinich directed his supporters to vote for Edwards - and most heeded that advice.

  • Edwards has never taken PAC or lobbyist money since his senate days in 1998..

the MSM doesn't seem to know this...

  • John Edwards holds the hallowed exclusive position of being the sole candidate who possessing the character, intellect and experience to take on and detach the parasitic stranglehold that corporate America has on our political system... through the money. If America truly wants change... Then John Edwards IS THE ONLY CHOICE! Watch SICKO to find out about HRC! J R

  • Applause:)

  • Thanks for you honest and candid responses. Please consider posting a video clip of your response to the healthcare question in which you spoke of the gentleman that had to wait 50 years to have his cleft palate fixed.

  • I agree. This gentlemen's situation is emblematic of our (class-stratified) health care system where EXCESSIVE PROFIT is king.. I have some knowledge of this as someone who has seen health care evolve over the past 20 years or so. John R. MS/ARNP, MBA/HCSM

  • Good answer. Part of the weakness on the left is the willingness to compromise to people who are unwilling to meet you partway. All you do give bargain away your position till you have nothing left.

  • He's right. You can't compromise with these insurance companies. You can't compromise with the oil industry. You have to force change. Not unreasonable change. But change.

  • Finally a Candidate ready to take on the Corporate interests, and ready to take our Country back!

He's been fighting those guys his whole life!

  • I could not agree more with the majority of the posts. We REALLY NEED JOHN EDWARDS. This country is crying out for a leader like him and he hears our cries.

  • Thanks for saying the Obvious. this country needs You!!

You got My Vote John Edwards

  • Mr. Edwards, time we move you to the front of the line.

  • When is being a trial lawyer a great thing for a Presidential candidate? How about when corporate lobbyists have a stranglehold on Washington, DC? Elect a trial lawyer (John Edwards) President in order to clean up the corporate corruption in Washington, DC. John Edwards took on corporations on behalf of his clients and won for years as a personal-injury lawyer, he has the experience to do the same as President, on behalf of the American people.

  • While I do not agree with all of your stands, I thought you carried the debate!

    SparklestheClown

  • That is MY candidate! I hope he gets the nomination.

  • You're awesome, John. We need you.

  • I hope you get the nom- I see good things in you, John.

    Peace,

    Teresa :)

  • I trust you. You will win the nomination!
