  • Thank you for this review! I also have a Vaio and am an I.T guy, but had no idea this existed until a week ago. Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

  • Funny, I'm watching this video on the same laptop.

  • ¿se puede utilizar el dynadock solamente conectado a una mininote? o necesariamente necesitaria contar con otras conexiones, saludos, por lo demas Toshiba es una marca de prestigio que se caracteriza por tener buenos productos.

  • Thanks, I was wondering about these questions and the info on the processing power to convert the HD picture to the USB stream was a consideration I had overlooked. The only thing I wish you would have included was what full screen video would begin to cause serious lag as you used up more bandwidth to download. Such as playing a you tube video full screen and gradually increasing the resolution. Thanks again.

  • Thanks! Very useful video.

Is there a way to power ON my laptop with the Dynadock U instead of opening it and pressing the on/off button?

  • Thanks.. helped for my project work :)

  • Just convinced me to go out and get this one. Thanks!!

  • Thank you so much Fredhart, now i'll buy it at Amazon, i was trying to find someone that have one to see something like that, now i'm totally decided! Thank you!

  • Can I play games with Toshiba Dynadock U?

  • if you get three of these, could you possibly get 6 outputs?

  • Great review......helped me out on this one......thanks

  • Hey...Great device review, Fred...I may have to get one of those for my laptop as well. Looks like it could be a "value" based answer to my need for portability!

  • Great wife ! Even shares her saved up points for hubby.

  • Excellent as usual, thank you for your ideas...

  • @hateliberals1 Thank you so much, I hope I can keep on coming up with interesting things.

  • great video friend!

  • @Diablo45calibeR Thank you very much.

  • The laptop dock has kinda died out for the most point. A lot of companies used to buy them with the laptop. Try speed testing the internet. You have to be losing some kind of speed.

  • @Mrcaffinebean I checked my speed using Speakeasy's speedtest, no slow down. My internet connection is 20 down and 3 up which is only a small fraction of the 480 that USB provides. So far so good, thank for asking, it was a good test.

  • @fredhart Yeah I gues thats true. How much memory you using when it's running?

  • Good Review! I've been using a Dynadock V for about 8 months with a Core i7 quad-core Toshiba laptop with no problems. I really like that it has a secondary video card that lets you run three monitors.

  • @Fishithard1 what does the processor have to do with this, grow up, and stop bragging....you kids.......just cant stick to the subject....

  • @hateliberals1 did you even watch the video...he obviously says that processing power comes into play...stop trolling...

  • @Fishithard1 Thank you so much, sounds like a nice laptop too. I had no idea how fast the i7 was till I got one, it screams!!!

  • Hey Fred it was great talking 2 you on Skype last night...

    ★★★★★

  • @MadBadVoodo It was great talking to you too! I always enjoy our chats. And make no mistake, you are the reason I'm still doing what am doing here on YouTube! You are a great friend!!!

  • Excellent review! I might have to try one of those thinga-ma-jigs!! LOL Thanks Fred

  • @GunznGear Setup is usually a pain with these type of devices but once they are setup, they're grrrrreat

  • ! ~~ Nice review Fred ~~ !

  • @HallounNizar Thank you very much.

  • I ordered a Toshiba Satellite about 4 years ago and it took a few years for normal retail laptops to catch up to the way I had it built. It had a 17" screen and was also a desktop replacement. I like the concept of the laptop as a desktop replacement. Nice video fred!

  • @ArtisanTony I have a Toshiba laptop too, I really like their products including this dock. Thank you so much my good friend!

  • Loving all the tech vids man :)

  • @LeKioskMusic Thank you very much, I will keep them coming.

  • How did you get 2 monitors to work with one Plug? Cool equipment thanks

  • @Billyboler The dock has a VGA and a DVI port, you can use both and still use the laptop monitor too.
