  • Tesla was one of the Top bands of the Era and genre. and in my opinion had the bigger list of hits with songs like , modern day cowboy, what you give, lil suzie, signs, try so hard, edisons medison, alot to loose and many many more

  • @icthruu4evr LOL!!!

  • just a straight up metal freak here and not apoligizing!!!

  • awesome solo

  • Man I remember riding in my '75 chevelle jammin the shit out of some 6*9's witha JVC tape deck..... Rocked the neighborhood.....kicks ass...

  • R you kidding me? I'm taking my MOM!!!

MOM LOVES COVERDALE TOO. Least I can do is impart I saw Tesla open for Dio @ the Long Beach Arena for their first t big tour. My stepfather gave us all a ride home lol! GREAT BAND!!!!

  • No gimmick....just straight up great music!!!

  • My Fave Tesla Song. The lead singer knows how to wear bracelets & look good doing it too;)

  • I think I feel my mullet growing back like some kind of 80's werewolf.

  • imo -- there is no better 80's metal band than maiden -- UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ive seen all except maiden at rocklahoma in pryor oklahoma as always they were awsome lynch played with lynch mob and dokken had jon levin from warlock another great of the 80s

  • TESLA ROCKS

  • This song kicked assin 86...now??? Oh Hell Yeah....Tesla ROCKS.......

  • @82metalmike hell yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To everybody who lives in the DC/ Baltimore area (or like me willing to travel a couple of hours) the last couple years 98 Rock has held a music festival at Merriweather Post with some big names from the 80's. Check out the "M3 rock festival". In 2010 they had the Scorpians, Cinderella, Vince Neil, Kix, Winger, L.A. Guns Warrant and several others.

  • and once again....NO MACHINES!

  • great song, and great video itself, its just the image is a bit blurry, other than that it is amazing. i love the 80's hairbands,

  • These guys still F*cking Rock!!

Check out my live recordings from they're 9/20/10 concert in WA State...

  • coool song

  • That opening riff is one of the greatest ever.

  • OMG Description says cheesy video? Are you insane, this is art. perhaps the most well thought out, planned and directed music video ever. Only one could compete for maybe better that being Britney Spears Gimmie More. :D Yes though, this song is awesome as is anything Tesla did.

  • If Vevo pops up as the video provider click back. Maybe they will go away.

  • i like their live album that came out in 2003

  • my dad went to hightschool with them and hes still friends with them

  • @you the biggest secret ever...Tesla died in Room No. 3327. His white gloves tell you brethren. His clues tell me. Tesla is the thirty third degree. The message to you is this... Harriman told Merriman to set that stage. John Muir's glacier would feel the rage... Man made earthquakes for 111 years.

English Association Record No. 333 was on September 3 at 3:03 p.m.

Wireless energy was all but free.

But they did away with Shide Nos. & sold you gas. John Milne Shide No. 333

  • @YOURPENGUY seriously can i get a hit off of what ur smokin ?? or is that the whipp cream can you been hittin off of ,....aaaaaah yes the reddi whipp it is i KNEW IT ,...i SAID WHIPP ITTT WHIPP IT GOOOOOOOOOD

  • @shredder40 Talking smack? You want some from this modern day cowboy? Don't bitch out when the jabs start flying... YOU READY? GET READY PUNK... I'LL READY WHIP YA... Nikola Tesla himself said he made earthquakes. The inventor of radio, radar, remote control, halogen lighting, neon lights, alternating current and the hydroelectric dam said that he himself made earthquakes. If he were crazy, wrong, stupid, high or doing whip its... YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO MAKE THE e-statement. What U Want More?

  • @shredder40 You know how Tesla insisted everything be divisible by three? I know why.

  • @shredder40 You know why he wanted only hotel rooms divisible by three and spent last ten years and died in Room No. 3327? I know why.

  • @shredder40 You know why he wore white gloves and told his "brethren" he received a message from another world? (Letter to The Red Cross 1900) I KNOW WHY.

  • @shredder40 British Association Record Earthquake No. 333 on September 3 at 3:03 p.m. epicenter time and lasted 3x3x3 (three cubed) 27 days. September 3rd to September 29th in 1899.

  • @shredder40 The following are figments of my imagination, i'm sure, combined with misinterpreted phenomenon explained very poorly with the entirely untrue story of a young Army Air Corps flight navigator from East Saint Louis who saw Television for the first time at the Chicago Worlds Fair and became the first licensed television technician ever in the state of Illinois...

  • @shredder40 This was before the young man went on to become an explosives engineer that invented the very first successfully deployed crash bag using CO2 gas in the fifties. Now that was before designing the charge that blows the wings out on the cruise missile mid flight which was before designing the inertial upper stage of the space shuttle...

  • @shredder40 ...which was well before designing the pop-top charge that blows the clear the path for our nuke to get out of those silos even after an almost direct hit which was before retiring senior vice of a major defense contractor who was back and forth from Northrop to Boeing to Sandia to Pharump with top security clearance all over the country including J. Robert Oppenheimer Laboratories at Los Alamos where Tesla's papers are still classified "need to know"

  • @shredder40 To make a long story short I would like to ask you what it means when this man who would not lie and thought a quibble much worse than a lie... after sending me out across town from the hospice in the middle of the night to bring to his deathbed a Bible and the failed mission comments when I returned first with his wife my Grandmother's Catholic Bible... this man who made me go back out and find HIS BIBLE... the I guess "Non Catholic" Bible...

  • @shredder40 ... AND HOLDING THAT BIBLE... TOLD ME THAT NIKOLA TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES IN 1899. THEN HE TOLD ME AGAIN THAT TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES IN 1899. He said it was a remote part of Alaska SOME GOLD PANNING 49ER TYPES WERE COMPENSATED AND THE ESKIMOS DIDN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT MONEY WAS LAUGHING AND THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES in the WHOLE WORLD WHO NOTICED IT HAD EVEN HAPPENED AND EVEN THEY DID NOT FATHOM...

  • @shredder40 Then he died in that bed with that Bible. I did not tell anyone of this event and could have taken it to my grave had there not been so many damn earthquakes lately.

Now I hope that you see why from my shoes reverse engineering THE BIGGEST STORY EVER from facts that I was blessed to already know as true sometimes can appear less than sane or scientific amid unfathomable disinformation tactics and epic lies placed as cornerstones in the structure of our very reality...

  • @shredder40 I solved the Nikola Tesla riddle of the 369. Tesla has accomplished many marvelous inventions and had many great discoveries in electrical engineering BUT THIS ONE YOU DID NOT HEAR. It is the total truth without quibble and the very reason for all the rumors and disinformation. Now, after 111 years and with the dawn of two new centuries, I announce an achievement which will amaze the entire universe...

  • @shredder40 and which eclipses the wildest dream of even the most visionary scientist. Nikola Tesla made earthquakes in 1899. That my friends is the universal key to unlock so many lies under guise of freedom...

Tesla made earthquakes in 1899. British Association Record Earthquake No. 333 on September 3 at 3:03 p.m. epicenter time and lasted 3x3x3 (three cubed) 27 days. September 3rd to September 29th in 1899. That is the Scottish Rite Secret of the 33rd degree and why Teslas not in textbooks

  • @shredder40 WHAT? YOU WANT SOME MORE? TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES BITCHES!

  • One of the best song of the 80's!

  • recordado video de los tesla precioso

  • I saw them kick the ass of Motley Crue as the opening act for the Dr. Feelgood tour.

Serious, I was there to see the Crue but they were fvcking phenomenal. Where Crue went through the motions Tesla threw down with genuine vigor.

  • @717mienbao

I saw them do the same opening for Def Leppard . Leppard wasn't bad , but Tesla couldn't have been outdone by anybody that night . Tesla's still my favorite band from the 80's .... the difference between them and all of the others that I grew up on is that their sound still holds up now .

  • This songs just rocks. Saw them in concert a few times back in the day. Best one was with Badlands and Great White. GW was the headliner until they got boo'd off from the stage and Tesla came back out and played their set again. What a great night that was. Badlands was stupid good as well. Wish Jake would come back...

  • NO MACHINES!

  • Saw them in 1991. Became a fan in 86' when I heard Little Suzi. To this day one of the best concerts I have ever been to.

  • One of THE BEST 80'S band; they sounded live every show. I lived the 80's and don't regret the chance to rock out to the best!!!!

  • wuz there n the 80s n saw them all .... great band n pro all the way .... granny wuz buiried in dallas round 86 ..... saw Tesla great white cinderella n dokken ....all in some mini texas jam the day she was buried. Im from houston n would have traveld regardless ..... clean 80s rock .......

  • In '83 we went toe to toe with the "Evil Empire". They blinked. I served during "Team Spirit '83". You have no idea how close it came to the end. From what I saw, we were shitting our pants. It was that real. Thank God they backed down. Ask Mr. Google.

  • @6alan6 I can imagine. With hot incidents such as KAL-007, Grenada, and ABLE ARCHER 83, the years 1983-84 were probably the closest we came to midnight on the atomic clock

  • Who would like to see a concert with Tesla, Dokken, Cinderella, etc...? One night, one show, all the 80's rock possible.

  • @nsidcenter sounds like a party from hell

  • @nsidcenter

    Def Leppard...Cinderella...Tesla....

  • @Kinsey0969 , I love all of these especially Iron Maiden and Cinderella. I would add L.A. Guns, Great White, Dio, Skid Row, Def Leppard among many to that list.

  • @Kinsey0969 yA , SOUnds great..saw all those bands in the eighties..

  • @nsidcenter that is the dream. maybe someday. . . talk to eddie trunk dude. thats the guy to tell us if that will ever happen anywhere

  • Look at the mulets...this is soooo back in the day. But I love the band!

  • I solved the 111 year old riddle of Tesla.

    TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES IN 1899

    Sept. 3rd, 1899

    Sept. 6th, 1899

    Sept. 9th, 1899

"If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9,

then you would have a key to the universe."

    — Nikola Tesla

    I am not shitting you.

  • @insightllc TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES IN 1899.

  • dude Tesla is way more legitimate then alot of 80's bands they did this for fun

  • dude, what the fuck is up with you? far as i can tell, youre the one who's gay! and a total fuckin IDIOT!!!!!!!! anyone else agree?

  • Comment removed

  • memories of 8th grade! damn life was so much easier then...

  • who ever thinks wats popular is good is a fucking retard the public is so fucking easily manipulated that u cant even tell wats good or not

  • Can any of you idiots play for thousands? Why cant you just listen to what sounds good to you and shut the F... up...Im tellin ya children

  • You lost the entire argument, so get over is. You are a loser.....looooosssseeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. LMAO. Keep crying loser.

Maybe I need to fetch you some more formula? A diaper? HAHA

  • it....get over IT.....gotta love typos.

  • That dude is well retarded Psychocotic supper is an amazing album and if shits popular then its better so he should go back to his amazing underground scene of unheard of bands and make love to his pet rat (girlfriend) :D

  • Dude...you lost, get over it and stop crying. Your opinion is your opinion....not mine, nor anyone elses. So go cry to someone who actually gives a shit about you.

  • oh .. i left out jethro tull. i liked the cover though.

  • signs was a david cassidy cover...and was a good song before tesla covered it. although my older brother whew was a teenager in the 70's when i was in gradeschool hated the song and david cassidy calling him bubblegum am radio, but he was more into deep purple and sabbath at the time.

  • What a clever comeback.....or not.

  • Popular = most liked. Is this too hard for you to understand? The Beatles have been voted best rock band of all time, also based on popularity, are they wrong too? You are such a genius. NOT.

What does Britney Spears have to do with 80's hair bands? You fail. Not even the same genre. Double fail.

Your opinion is YOUR opinion...and is not necessarily shared by the masses. Translation = I win.

  • That's funny, because those two songs seem to be two of the MOST POPULAR of the band! There was no derailing of Tesla, they still rock, you suck, and get over it, you TROLL!!!

  • Oh come the fuck on!!! You are absolutely tone deaf if you are a hair band fan and diss Tesla like that. These boys rock with everything they make. The new album SHOWS that J.K. still has it.

  • going to see them this june at keadin casino~! with all my buds

  • Keith sounds more and More like Cartman from south park when he sings, I saw Tesla about a year ago and when they did Love Song, If I closed my Eyes. IT WAS ERIC CARTMAN singing.

    Great6 show.

  • best. music video. ever.

  • one of my all time fav's... it never gets old

  • same sound as some def leppard songs (early ones) like foolin'... it all rocks

  • Tesla kicks ass

  • Is there any rock band that had more big hits and gets less recognition and respect? I can't think of one.

  • you can love a band or group, but don"t hate someone for their likes, it's just music....by the way TESLA DOES ROCK!

  • Comment removed

  • Still my fav. Tesla album!!!

  • is it me or does the guy stumbling around at the start remind anyone of the photographer from ac/dc's fly on the wall videos?

  • honestly the guitarist can sound exactly like eddie van halen at times... this band has to be top 10 80s ban... great mix of ballad and power metal... love em...

  • Truly one of the top 10 best songs of the 80's. A power punch of pleasure to the ears. Tesla had done a lot of really good stuff...and has *always* been underrated.

  • @CaptainGrevious this solo makes me wanna cry and go slap somebody fuckin magical

  • this is gonna be in guitar hero 6

  • i hope so den we can kik ass.....

  • hhhhmmm....they have hot man legs....gotta love Tesla.

  • These guys never got enough credit. Jeff Keith is one of the best, perhaps THE best next to Bas.

  • Really?

It's almost generic glam metal vocals to me. Or is there another song you're talking about?

  • awesume

  • Real prophetic song, look at the world today.

  • This song remindes me of my cousin cary frenzel this was our song back in the day we were modern day cowboys always getting in to some kind of shit RIP cary i will never forget you

  • I saw Tesla in Niagara Falls yesterday play this song, they still sound great and kick ass!

  • a bit cheesy ...but not bad ...80s rock was a bit on the boring side for me ...so is this ...but they are good ..dont get me wrong ...just not my thing

  • o man so close no ringer

  • Love this song. Wish this music would come back, I hate all the new music, the 80s had the best music. There's barely any good now in day music out there.

  • love the SG

  • Great quality!

  • Geffen had some great talented bands back in the days like Guns n Roses, Tesla, Junkyard, Aerosmith and Roxy Blue.. but how they could dump Roxy Blue and live on Nirvana's money is beyond me.

But look at the company today they have only garbage like rap and rnb strippers. wtf?! Give me back my rock n roll..

  • Rattlehead930 post some videos of your band and send them to me. numberbutt is my acount

  • Another totally underrated band.. *sigh*

  • saw them yesterday they rocked for some reason they love coming to Salt Lake City

  • Mormons, haha just kidding.

  • Songs like this aren't written today, sadly. That era fucking rocked...I loved it and will always reside in it.

  • Yeah, I wish I was as good a song writer as Jeff. I mean, I tried... hard, but it never turned out good.

I guess I'll just keep on doing cover versions of their songs, with my band.

Not a bad thing btw, I think they turn out pretty good. You know... I should post some vids on here of us.

    Anyway,

    <3 Tesla

  • Man they did have some great tunes. And yess: post some vids dude, I'd like to see them. cheers.

  • Hey! I used to love this song way back when. This is cool to see the video again.

  • Stormy night under jet black skies, Billy pulls into town

the thunder rolled and the lightning bolts come crashin' to the ground

Cold as ice, hard as stone, as he walks into the room

With another man who was feeling the same way, all hell's breakin' loose

It's a showdown in the no man's land, for the cowboy of the modern day

Come sundown, don't be hangin' round, 'cos the cowboy'll blow you away
