  • Great song! I wonder what it would sound like had Steve Hackett played this solo.

  • great track from a great band thanks for putting it on here

  • Looking for Scipio !!! anybody care to get it on here !! cant find it anywhere !!

  • 昔、UFO特集の番組でこの曲がBGMとして流れ・・・

    とても気に入って、すぐさまレコード買いました。

  • Love the Progressive-sound. The pictures show the power of our Mother Gaia; Those waves in the sky showing the 'few' have done to try + harm humanity; the lightning ->POWER with the drum solo that is magnificent 06:15; the Heart in the sky which I have seen so many of in the Heaven's I lost count. Sunsets; Rays that are little shout-outs Hello from my little son. OH what a Master-piece. Namaste' Thanks to My Angle that shared this today; the creator's the Master's that played and the Poster.<3

  • I love this track Hotta!

  • This is one of my favourites :-)

  • Love Sky

  • excelente! segundo post, creo!

  • I have this on their album but I noticed here it's labelled "Sky 2". My album says only "Sky". Or did they do another version for another album?

  • @mus1cat NO!

    A1 Westway

    A2 Carrillon

    A3 Danza

    A4 Gymnopedie No.1

    A5 Cannonball

    B1 Where Opposites Meets

As you see there are no Hotta :)

  • @PASJONAT51 Thanks for the info but it occurred to me that different countries didn't necessarily have the same albums. Stupid idea it was.

Are you outside the US, in England for example? I am in the US.

Anyway, for the record (pun intended), my album "Sky" (2 record set) has: Side 1 -Hotta, Dance of the LIttle Fairies, Sahara Side 2 - Fifo (4 movements) Side 3 - Tuba Smarties, Ballet Volta, Gavotte & Variations, Andante, Tristan's Magic Garden, El Cielo Side 4 - Vivaldi, Scipio, Toccata

  • @mus1cat You got Sky2 album :) Yes,I,m outside US. I live in Poland.

  • Guys, USA/Canada released Sky2 as Sky, hence the confusion

  • @mus1cat it was sky 2 got them all

  • @mickeyjbally Well, all I can say then is it must have been an American release simply called Sky but a double album.

  • @mus1cat 'Sky' was their first album, 'Sky 2' was their second.

No prizes for guessing what their third one was called :P

Seriously though, 'Sky' and 'Sky 2' are two different albums, and if you can find 'Sky 2' Buy it. You will not be dissapointed.

  • @infamycomms Yes but USA/Canada relesed Sky2 as Skly

  • @infamycomms

Do you or anyone know anywhere I can buy/download Sky2? It was one of my favourite albums as a child - I prefered it to their best-of album. I've looked on iTunes but I can't find anything from Sky on there.

  • @eb8931 My copy is on vinyl, which I found in a local record store, but the first copy I heard was on cassette. There are a lot of vinyl copies on eBay (about 20 when I looked) but I couldn't find any CDs when I looked.

  • @eb8931

you can find it here: mp3lemon.org/album/22713/

  • @mus1cat

well i have Sky 2 on vinyl and this is the first number on the first record - i'm in UK in case that makes any difference

  • Video really does justice to this wonderful group of talented musicians.

Thank you so much for the share!

  • 31 years ago......

  • Thanks for doing this - made my day; this was my favourite song of theirs but I got rid of the album when I switched from vinyl. Great photos, too!

I remember on the album it said that the rhythm came about because they pressed all the buttons on their drum machine and that's what came out!

  • Amazing band! You've done really nice video too!

  • 懐かしく!今だ聞いてもすばらしい!!

  • graet song.. always put this song ..fantastic..great....

  • utterley fantastic. their first two albums are superb. forged my early musical influences and made me appreciate proper musical talent.

  • Cool, i used to listen to this on my cinderblock-sized walkman doing my paper round!! Fantastic prog-rock =)

  • After oxygene 5 this is my most favourite peice of music ever. Its simply brings together so much, its fantastic.

I'm listening again after 20 years without hearing this great tune. Thanks for posting in appreciation. Great vid

  • that was fantastic. take a bow my friend.

  • Godess!

I bouight it when being 14yrs and on the egde coming to hospital because of a minor injury.

I recorded on tape (still anyone in here, that knows, what a tape is?) and heard it over and over again...i wrote my first novel there -by hand.

I enjoy living close to a town, hosting a music acedemy.

    But SKY were special...

  • Vinyl - tape... yes! I was enjoying it at the same time as the LSOs Classic Rock albums and J-M J.

There was alot of this kind of thing about at the end of the 70s/early 80s.

Twas a good time for this type of sound :0)

  • i can remember buying this album, and two others when they first came out.
