The interviewer has true but misleading statistics... yes the BASE corporate tax rate is 35%, but the EFFECTIVE corporate tax rate is often 0% after deductions... corporate taxes as a share of federal revenue is at historic lows. Income disparity is the highest it's been since the great depression. Focus on this effort for a minimum of six months. Within three months you will develop a goal with a realistic plan to get a new job and your life will be changed. And stay away from drugs and alcohol to keep you rmind clear and get away from lazy unfocused friends
