The reason he is good at playing reverse and normal sweep is because before he started cricket he used to Play high level hockey !

@djdom121 He played high level Hurling, not Hockey. It's a popular Irish sport where you use both sides of a stick. Many sports researchers say that any skill you learn from the age 9-12, you take into any sport you play and Morgan was playing Hurling around 3 times a week at the time.

he cant play shots like that because he played hurling, its because he wasnt strong enough when he first moved to middlesex to reach the boundaries consistently so he learnt and perfected the reverse and normal sweeps. obviously he has taken this further and has reached the stage where he can play shots like the one above, the hurling thing is a bit of a myth not occording to me but morgan said it himself
