Yeah Linux is great for many uses! Mostly for severs however its great to learn and easier to understand than windows. However the OS for me has to be mac for the simple reason that its so easy to access all your media. I know windows is the business side but i still think that mac should be more used in schools.
In my hometown, the schools had Apple II computers from the 80's until 1992 when they upgraded to Mac. In high school there was only a couple of Gateway PCs in one of the art rooms all other rooms and the computer labs were all 100% Apple computers. Mostly Mac Classics and LC II because most students homes had an IBM Compatible computer they added a PC computer lab in the late 90's.
well done kid, the people taht bad comment are arseholes and probably are like idiots, well done for explaining what it is. ps ignore arsehle commentors or jst complain about their stuff which is prbs no where near as good as yurs
Excellent Video. There are distributions of Linux that have bundled support. Like Suse Linux gives you 6 months of free support if you purchase the product. Ubuntu offers support for a small fortune though. I would reccommend experimenting in Ubuntu more, learning the OS and releasing another video showcasing some of the popular apps that are similar to Windows apps, and showcasing what you can get for free with the OS. That would be cool. Great video Keep the videos coming. -Hacker_

Mac still has a place in alot of the schools.

I agree.... the macs may cost more but the quality and productivity life span of the computer will end up paying you back.

Cool. - KDE's better than Gnome--in my humble opinion. I like the accessibility options in KDE.
