Watts riots, because the song was in my head from listening to it on the radio, then coming back from Huntington Beach with my parents, when I was 10 years old. We got in the house and freaked-out at watching the riots unfold, that same day.

My dad was offered two tickets to a Dodger game, but my mother wouldn't let us go. I remember the song from that moment in time. On channel 9, there was a commercial for "9th Street West" that showed dancers dancing to "Liar, Liar." One of the most memorable summers of my life.
