@88jjdecay the ZR1 is one of few american cars that are actually good, its also one of the few that copyed european handling system, and its been beaten already. ;)

Cars that beat it were: Radical SR8 LM, Gumpert Apollo Speed, Dodge Viper ACR, Lexus LFA, Maserati MC12, Pagani Zonda F Clubsport, Ferrari Enzo.

And Nissan GTR came close within a second betwen them, and the Nissan GTR costs ALLOT less. ;)

@Eldoro82 domestics dont copy european handling becuase they really cant becuase of patents. Go type in motor trend 2011 mustang gt vs 2011 bmw m3, and watch what american engineering and can do against another of european car that costs alot more then what the gt costs.

@88jjdecay Sure the Mustang was 0,01 sec faster then the M3, and ofcours it the Mustang costs allot less and theres a simple reason for that. The reason will get explaind when you put these two cars togethere in a track race of 3 laps. + you get way beter design values in the M3, bouth on the inside and out side.

Let me explain, M3 has more complex body detail lines from front to back, rims are beter thought out to fit the cars looks, interior has beter meterial choises dosnt ratle.

Plus i could just tell you the same thing about the ZR1 and the gtr. The reason why the ZR1 costs more is becuase of its body lines lol Also the new gt has no rattles. Im in the denver mustang club and my uncle has a 2006 shelby gt-h that he autocrosses with. and its still has no rattles or anything. The mustang just has more character just like any other muscle.

The ZR1 cost more beacous of its detail? i would say becous of the motor, Chevrolet have gotten lazy in terms of design, there like porche....the corvette looks almost exectly like the 2000 corvette. xD interrior is made out of the same standard crapy plastics and it has a computer that isnt all that impressive.

Plus the zr1 and vettes arent even made out of plastic. Its two things that are called carbon fiber and fiber glass. And they made them that way so they would be very lite.

@88jjdecay GTR on the othere hand has complex and well thought out details to direct the air flow, amazing computer, smaller moter the the ZR1 (a V6 3l twin tubo) and is still just a 0.01 sec behind the ZR1s 0-60m time, it courners beter and is more comfurtoble and is beter sound proof, it dosnt use air in the tires becous air is to unstable, it uses a surtain gas in them for stabillity, Interior meterial looks and feels beter then ZR1s crappy plastics that start to ratle in 6 years.

@Eldoro82 My parents had a 1968 mustang and it still had no rattles or anything. Muscle will always outlive most your imports. I cant go to the track without seeing a gay ass one runa 17 sec or brake. No matter what the 2011 5.0 beats your little m3 and the zr1 beats your gtr so get over it.

Plus, bring any muscle car of any kind from america, which are imports to us, and put it up to our European cars, and a garentee thay will bury you. Remember, we have Ferraries, Lambos, Autin Martains, Koeniggseg, Buggati. Porche and meany otheres, top that.

@Eldoro82 it would be awsome to bring more muscle to europe! you have low elevations there which would give the car more o2. plus with the money you spend on your lambos, ferraries etc i could put all into the new 2011 gt which is only 30g and put the new supercharger they have for it that pushes the hp up to 630 and slap some slicks on it or road race grade tires and it will take them on anyday. It has way more bang for the buck. Oh yea AGAIN the zr1 and the gt still beat the m3 and gtr.

@88jjdecay Sure, if youd put a supercharger into the GT mustang youd probobly be able to at least keep up with Ferraris and lambos, but keep in mind, what your geting in lambos and ferraris are pure hand build meterial design, inside out, and again, the mustang wouldnt keep up with them on a track at all. any day. oh yeah both the M3 and GTR are both cheaper cars and have smaller moters the the zr1 and gt still there both just 0.01 sec behind, so the zr1 and gt just bearly make it.

Like i said with all the money you spend on an m3 or gtr you could put all of it into the new gt with suspension mods, after market engine mods. you get mre bang for the buck with the gt.
