@OtakuBishounengirl you know, i think the best thing about hetalia is that instead of giving you the facts one two three it characterizes the entire situation in a completely overdramatized and exaggerated way. It's historically correct for one but it also captures the emotion behind history, unlike the textbooks which just tell you dry facts.

@OtakuBishounengirl LOOOOLLLZZZZ its like you already know me or something. yes i am a history freak cuz i grew up basically being told stories of history instead of like...fairytales. xDDDD weird parents. i am a proud history buff but its kinda easy to lose sight of all the wonderful things in this world when you're learning about genocides and googling wars all day, but i hetalia's brought back my optimism. Because at the end of the day, you look back on all of the world, and LAUGH.

@OtakuBishounengirl I'm serious, hetalia helps you SO MUCH during history class. It's not really because the show teaches you anything specific cuz there's WAY MORE than just the highlights of the show, but it's that the characters are integrated into your mind. When you read about say like The War of the Austrian Succession (ahem!) all you can think about are the characters, which helps you remember a lot of the stuff. Hetalia brings history to life. Literally xP
