They could just as easily have chosen alternate places, and so conversely I could have asked why not a mosque? There are many places where the public can be reached and a mosque happens to be one of them. It depends on the project team as to where they think they will have maximum impact.

Choosing a mosque is nothing to do with race, if you implied that by telling me to step back. Muslim kids, even "bad" ones, usually still go to mosque on Fridays, and they are as deserving of being educated.

However, obviously one charity/organisation can't fix all the kids in London, so they have to focus on where they believe they'll make the most impact, and to an extent I guess that could be where the charity is based. Hence, the choice is not surprising.

I would encourage them to reach out to other charities so as to have a wider domain of influence. Other charities/orgs could reach out to this one too. It's all ok
