  • Give him a shot Tequila. He'll be alright

  • damn good spotting! some of the best ive ever seen, as far as the lift goes its unfortunate man hopefully youre healed up now!

  • pat mendesssss

  • Good spotters.

  • why people always want to lift very heavy objects? whats the point?

  • Comment removed

  • Chuck Taylors are good powerlifting shoes because they have a flat stable platform.

  • why is he wearing chuck taylors???

  • Best spotters I've ever seen on Youtube, by a mile! This video is worth Liking for that alone!

  • Looks like Chuck Vogelpohl tearing his cruciate ligament. And to me it looks like theres a heap load more on there than 325kg? Surely Chuck wouldn't even open at 325 it's gotta be a bit light for him?

  • I'm gonna hit the like button because I'm happy he didn't get hurt

  • @berner chuck taylors are a very common powerlifting shoe

  • hahah who wears converse' to lift in???

  • @CHSknox22 I do...

  • i dont even think my legs can go that wide lol

  • spotters who actually carried out their purpose? AMAZING!!!!!

  • Those spotters are some of the best if not THE BEST I've ever seen.

  • ACL is broken.. thats bad

  • @kingwill03 ACL is "broken" lol

  • Liking the porn music in the background.

  • @liamsp544

this music was in a steven seagal porno

  • @knjazvovk And now I do not like the porn music in the background. ;)

  • i did re stance its no wonder he didnt just dropped terrible stance

  • great spotters... and for people commenting on stance being too wide, its an equipped squat. that's not a singlet he's wearing, its a squat suit. Equipped technique is VERY different from raw technique.

  • great spotters.

  • wtf.. stance is soo off

  • How has your recovery been going? Any attempts at this weight since?

  • great squatter and spotters...and that stance is a standard powerlifting squat stance nothing wrong there

  • thats call noo roids

  • CrossFit

  • very good spotter but not a good squatter

  • i blame the hat.

  • lol asshole

  • This shit should not even be performed without a squat safety rack.Saw so many fucking accidents of people almost breaking their back neck and some almost got decapitated.Put a fucking steel frame to hold the barbell just in case something happens.Relying on people to catch your 200kg 300kg 400kg weight is stupid and sick.

  • @TheBigBADaZz Which federation do you lift in that allows racks in competition?

  • @Wiegieboard It is a point in safety?Or what you are so pro you can squat so low, that the barbell touches the floor?Shit can happen people can pass out,a muscle or bone can mess up.How does a steel frame 40-45cm from the floor to catch the weight( just in case), affect the squat? For instance I'm short ,about 168cm and even in my deepest squat the barbell doesn't ever touch the safety frame in the squat rack.So i ask again why not have steel catching the weight just in case instead of 2 guys?

  • @TheBigBADaZz

Some guys stances are wider than a frame could be /thread

  • american rules mean they don't go as deep as what is required with the IPF.

  • good weight but should b alittle deeper. past 90deg,

  • @gaztyler1234 He knows that, he's the guy with nearly 700lbs on his back, you're the guy with Miley Cyrus in your favourites.

  • Wow, these comments are ridiculous. The powerlifting squat, which this guy is doing, requires wide spread legs. That's how people who squat 1,000 pounds do it. It allows you to move the focus from your quads to your hips, hamstrings, and glutes. If you can't squat more than 600 lbs, you shouldn't criticize form, it just shows how ignorant you are.

  • thats what it looked like when my knee cap popped out

  • something incredibly homoerotic about this video...

  • @sw33tness666 Do you speak from personal experience?

  • All u need to stfu all of u are wrong. Go to muscle and fitness or bodybuilding. Com they teach retards like u how to lift. i Made a vid and put it on BB.

  • His legs are way to far apart. It's good to have them spread pretty far when you bench but you're barely suppose to go farther than shoulder-width apart. It's all about form

  • u totally wrong....there is different form when u squatt...the way he did it is mostly used when u put rly heavy weights...but if ur not going for that much and just want to do 6reps-12reps u would put ur feet more closer

  • break a leg fucker

  • Nobody noticed that his stance is way too wide?

  • Maybe that's what caused his knee to gave out so easily.

I competed at the 1999 Eastern Canadian Powerlifting Championships (IPF sanctioned) in Charlottetown, Canada, and one lifter suffered a knee injury as a result of a wide Squat stance.

When doing Squats, the knees should never be wider than perpendicular to the lifter's shoulders.

  • @drmoogala is the squatter preference to lift more weight

  • @drmoogala i noticed that from the beggining

  • @drmoogala nobody noticedd that you are a moron.

  • @drmoogala He's doing a sumo squat where his legs are going to be really wide. Powerlifters do this kind of squat so they can add a lot more weight.

  • @drmoogala To wide by textbook standards, powerlifters for right or wrong often throw out the textbook.

This one however I personally agree too, I alternate my stances between textbook & wide (sumo stance) which can make better use of the glutes & hamstrings.

  • @drmoogala That's how most people lift in gear.

  • i have a tornacl and con only squat 250 for now un till like 3 years after surgery lol...but i cant wait...i clean and my knee gives out....id dont rreally hurt me but it is scary as hell with wiehgt on my back of cleaning and have it come down on me!!

  • Are these guys maniacs or what

  • that really was some great spotting

  • poor depth, nice spotters! Nice weight too...

  • omg it looks like his knee broke...

  • no shit sherlock

  • it's the sumo stand. you know nothing. it's supposed to be that wide. it goes more into the legs

  • Hey can someone tell me, why don't they just use power racks instead of spotters for competitions? Can they not support weights that are this heavy or something?

  • that is just a dumb sport. why u dont join the real ipf powerlifting

  • wow very wide squat stance

  • his base is wayy to wide. a little wider than shoulder width apart. youre not supposed to do a split bud

  • hes doin sumo squats

  • The depth was poor.

  • great spotting!!!!! he had it (besides the knee) i notice he uses a pretty wide stance too

  • It's the shoes that saved him lol

  • good spotting !!

  • wow shit... that must hav hurt like hell mate. Great spotting

  • im not a big fan of those racks, which dont have a cage or pins or anything. First of all the pins can help out with how deep to go, and second of all, if you fail all you gotta do is let the bar touch down on the racks.

  • i love to squat n im deffinatly not an expert but id say ur legs were too far apart.. n yes those were some awsome spotters

  • Those spotters are awsome most times that much weight would have all went into his kneck and fucked his shit up even more

  • good spotters :)

  • lol chuck voghelpohl attitude with the hosier...

  • now people

    those are spotters!!!!!!!!

  • no shit without them thatd been a compound fracture haha shit...@sprytal

  • @sprytal lucky they saved him

  • @sprytal Perfect stance for suited squat.
