when I wrote it I was unaware that the NIST had released their final report. I have come up to speed on it. However I can now disagree with you about how you chose to characterize the fire. It was not a small fire on a few floors. I was unaware of the report, you know about it and don't know what is in it.

NIST also was forced to admit that column 79 (the one that failed 1st) did not reach a temperature above 200C! That is far below any temperature at which steel loses strength. And yet we are still supposed to believe that it collapsed on it's own!

It's a cover up! They did their entire 1000 page report without looking at a SINGLE piece of physical evidence!

The NIST report is a Public document, its findings are public and up for scrutiny; It is no longer a matter for idle speculation. If there are valid and issues with it the Engineering community will point them out. And just how is that a cover up?

And even if it had, that does not excuse NIST from ignoring it! Appendix C concluded that more study was needed, and NIST purposefully ignored this recommendation!!

There is zero evidence for thermite, If you had bothered to read the entire FEMA report and the NIST response and Bazant you would understand that. Thermite is no exotic, as your paper points out it is made of comment materials which would have been expected to be present at the levels found at the WTC.

Also no evidence of melted steel has ever been produced.
