Many KJV people believe in the king james because there are so many mistakes in the other translations.

Others believe in the king james because all the new translations are translated from Catholic manuscripts that have the apocrypha in the old testament instead of between the testaments like the 1611.

1) It's interesting that you throw that supposition about homosexuals translating the NIV, because there is ample evidence out there that King James I (the namesake for your ONLY translation) was a homosexual. So at least the NIV isn't NAMED for a homosexual.

Even the King James relied on earlier translations which would make it a translation of translations. The question is whether the product says the same thing as the source. Read Acts 2. It didnt seem like God had any problem putting his word into the tongue of every nation then.

Yeah...neither of those verses mentions anything about a specific translation...English or otherwise. Besides that, once you translate it out of English (OLD English at that), it ceases to be the KJV. Not to mention I have a copy of the KJV as it appeared in 1611, and it barely resembles the KJV we have today. The KJV Only doctrine is a house of cards...built on nothing but the tradition of men.
