@111alien111 It was ok. I think one of these covered with 3/8" steel balls would be more deadly. and about the def velocity, it depends only on amount of confinement and quality of the flash. Im sure 1 micron al flash with kmno4 as the ox in a 1/4" thick steel pipe would be up in the 3 or 4 thousand range, whereas 10 micron al standard flash in a paper tube might be 1000-2000

These devices are filled with basically black powder on steroids. Its a powder that burns insanely fast... much faster than the black powder in mortar shells, but it still doesnt compair to explosives like c4 or dynamite because those explosives require a shockwave of at least 10,000 feet per second (blasting cap) to detonate. This stuff doesnt detonate like c4, but it will deflagrate (burn) just with a fuse. I can make and use this stuff as I please a 1/2 mile away from any establishment
