  • This is one of the best videos on utube imo.

So why has it so few views! lol

  • what is the first song he plays? the one when he ask the man to step back

  • @iDerpV2 sorry it took me so long to respond, I know the song as well as the back of my hand but do you think I could remember the name! It finally came to me. It is Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring". Hope this helps.

  • what a beast.......

  • @doctordreyer... He is playing at carnigie hall. Those people are the cream of the crop snobs, he is by far one of the best ever. In no way is this over rated.

  • i never knew a harmonica could play so many keys

  • I would've been like....GAAAAASPPPP...I need an inhaler

  • Bad ass instrument. Harmonica rocks the stadium

  • So amazing, to actually achieve his dream, must be overwhelmingly grand, props to you Greene!

  • overrated

  • my dad playes harmonica he good but this dude is on a completely different level

  • i know for a fact that rosinni isnt an easy one to play. ive tried it on the harmonica myself and failed near the first of the last intro chords. he has more tallent than any other harmonica player i know, and i am one. i nearly dropped dead when i herd this

  • @KC8YOQ guess you dont wanna hear it, is it so much to say please to someone who could play circles around this Hack! I think you're scared.

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ no please?

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ guess that means you're not going to say please for my efforts..too bad,.would of been better than this moderate musician, who messed up twice on an easy set.

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ Not enough practice, obviously. Messed up on two critical parts. He wont be invited back

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ lol..calling in some favors. That guy playing at Carnegie Hall, shoulda called in some favors to play better.

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ its too bad too.I was gonna do the same parts he messed up. So you could see the difference for yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @KC8YOQ Too bad. It would have been great. but then again , I know you are scared to find out. And I know your type, you would never say sorry either after I showed this Hack up with a flawless run.

  • Wow! Is that an eye opener. Never thought anyone did classical on the harmonica.

Fantastic!!! Thank you for sharing. This man is very gifted.

  • Just try it yourself. You'll see how difficult this is. Yet it looks so easy when Buddy plays. Amazing!

  • He must be the best harmonica player who ever lived... cause he's definitely the most B.A

  • incredible

  • That is just too dam fast.

  • How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

  • @vealstew PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!

  • Wowzers. I haven't heard such great harmonica since my daughter had a set in several keys.

  • Awesome.

  • 3:14

    CRAZY EYE!

  • Watch again Buddy mentions "Carnegie Hall" in the video

  • great stuff, but not carnegie hall. "gaither homecoming" on tv i would guess. just as good.

  • ohh my

  • excellent

  • The harmonica can only bring happiness, especially when this guy is playing.

  • He brought down Carnegie Hall with a harmonica. That was amazing.

  • @MichaelJG9 he sure did hahaha i seriously wish i could play like that

  • I hate to ask, but what key is his harmonica in? Can anyone work it out?

  • You can buy them in diff keys. But its always a minor key.

  • ...Or the relative major of said minor key.

  • Not true.

  • AMAZING!!! What a talent!

  • That guy has some amazing talent!

  • very good

  • That dude is pro

  • Wow! Can he do Pachelbel's Canon in D Major too?

  • HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!

  • i LOVE it!!!

    a one man orchestra. :D

  • sick arpegios

  • What do you mean sick? Let's see YOU do it!

  • Sick means good, dude, he wasn't being insulting.

  • again I stood up applauded and so did my neighbour coz this ace was served at full volume!!!! xxxx

  • i like :D

  • Oh, Susanna (excerpt during intro)

Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

    Mozart's Night Music??? (excerpt)

blends into entire "WIlliam Tell Overture" at about 3:05

This guy is VERY talented, has excellent single note ability, and a great sense as a performer! Loved it!

  • I'm so very glad you enjoyed it!

  • @RevSu I didn't go down the chain of comments to see if this was ever corrected, but the second classical piece is Mozart's Piano Sonata in C Major, K. 545, first movement.

  • @RevSu the middle one is Mozart, but it the exposition from his Sonata Facile in C (k 545), not Eine Klien Nachtmusik.

  • @RevSu Its mozarts c major sonata

  • X TREme!

    harmonicaXCore!!!

  • A harmonica gets a standing ovation in Carnegie Hall.

This is quite possibly the most amazing thing that has EVER HAPPENED.

  • whats the name of the song at 2:41?

  • I believe it's William Tell Overture but I'm sure someone will correct me here if I'm wrong.

  • Yep. It is.

  • This is the best video that I have ever seen on Youtube, ever. Thank you.

    Robert

  • Amen & Amen! Thank you.

  • what's the name of the second song that he played?

    I always forget.

  • this is sick!

    his facial expressions are genius!

  • I have forwarded this to all of my Blues buddies!

  • If you could scream on a harmonica... it would soung like that

  • Magnificant, Wow, very nicely done, 10 out of 5, defenantly I would give u more props but I'd run out of Room, Many Many Kudos!!!

  • never encourage us harmonica players lol

  • wait what are you talking about i, i was quoting him and i play a multitude of instruments, please keep your ignorance to yourself......

  • Hey DistantSoul13, Is it hard learning more than one instrument? I play piano and am going to try guitar and violin. Does it require lots more practice because you've gotten used to piano?

  • it depends but really it depends on if your really interested in the instrument ya kno.....

  • Hi, I got an email from youtube saying you replied to my comment, I can't see a comment by me :S

  • I didn't know that a harmonica could be played like that!

  • "So what.. ho hum.." indeed!

  • That...is just awesome!

  • Buddy Greene, fucking awesome, hopefully I'll get that good in 5-8 years lol

  • Oh I meant to ask that long time ago, but what song is #2? I can only play the beginning and after that I get lost cause it goes too fast for me to replicate, lol, so do you happen to know?

  • I don't know the first little jig (following saying harmonica's got a "bad rap") but he then followed by playing Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the second piece is the William Tell Overture (you may recognize it as the Lone Ranger theme LOL)

  • the peice before the william tell is mozart's night music.

  • Comment removed

  • I really think it is a Mozart Sonata, instead of "Night Music". If you look for Mozart Sonata in C, you might be able to find some sheet music.

  • wow.... that was AWESOME! I've seen lots of bad harmonica playing (even done some myself) but never anything like that!

  • wow.

    Thanks

    jack

  • Boy!

    THAT's playing the harmonica!
