I live in the deep South and have had my fair share of fried chicken.. and I must say it truly is some of the best I've had. I live in Vicksburg, MS and Lorman isn't too far away.. so I make trips when I can and I go there starving! :)
Aw.. I loved Mr.D, the High Priest of Heavenly Fried Chicken. Watching Feasting 2, he seemed like just the happiest, kindest, deepest soul. If i'm ever in Mississippi, i *swear* i'm gonna have to get me some of that chicken too. Or die tryin'!
this guy sings!!!! He is a wonderful, wonderful singer. Chicken and singing. Please, take me home.

Fried chicken is delish. That greasy crunchy layer of skin is always my favorite.

I go through Mississippi every summer on my way to Mobile, Alabama. I should try and stop at that restaurant some year.

I've been in that restaurant but didn't have the chicken. I feel such a fool! lol
That episode makes me pretty proud that I live in Mississippi. Yes, we do know how to cook some chicken lol
And ps, I love how he doesn't talk with a southern drawl, but when he said Mississippi he said it the correct way: Mi'ssippi ;D
