pastor cymbalas books have helped me and are a blessing to all of us. the testimonies of changed lives and prayer. prayer of praises to the Almighty. real prayer. not email chain prayers but the body of Christ gathering to pray to God..i wish i could find a church that has a prayer meeting..can anyone tell me why christians do not pray together? not 3 or 4 people showing up and reading other peoples prayer requests..but meeting together to pray together?

What is portrayed on these videos and the atmosphere of working at the Brooklyn Tabernacle are totally opposite. Fear, Manipulation are more like it. Cymbala fired almost ALL of his associate pastors who have gone on to be senior or assocate pastors for other churches. Why? There are serious allegations of Financial Abuse and Nepotism. it depends on which god you are refering to. As for me, being a christian my believe is that God always know the best for us. and there are times when we pray, His answer will be either yes, no or later. 3 scenarios but it is still an answer.
