  • Excellent innovative idea to run both sequencer and Axe from foot controller. may I ask what software are you using? Or it could be generally any DAW, bit how would be possible to shift from song to song?

  • Performers used midi footwitches to run sequencers, lights, and racks of midi gear back in the late 80's, early 90's. I'm doing a super-simple version of that. I use MOTU digital performer because you can map any midi command to any function. The video shows how I go from song to song. When shopping for a DAW, investigate the midi remote capability and ability to build a playlist you can cue with midi.

  • Just ordered me a LG2...looking forward to getting it next week! Kepp the videos coming mate!

  • Good luck getting your LG2, I paid for mine Jan 24 and have yet to receive it. The guy handling shipment isn't sticking to his word, and already mixed up my order once.

  • @virtualericgear sorry to hear that mate! Was it Xavier? He seems to be on top of everything man! I would check with him! Regards

  • Xavier is on top of it. This guy wasn't, but it finally showed up -- ironically the same day I whined here. The LG2 rocks so far - loaded up and downloaded great. If you're using axe-fx, be sure to turn off sysex send of the tempo or you might get a bad checksum when you dump to the LG after configuring your pedals.

  • VERY nice explanation..!!! I'm still mapping out my LG, but I'm still wrestling with my bass rig - but I may just grab an Ultra and call it a day as well. I'm borrowing a buddy's to test drive right now.

Are you going to get the upgrade to the LG2?

  • I paid for the upgrade last week. Looking forward to the LG2 for sure. It'd be nice to see a video of the OLED screen.

  • No, not at all. If you're sloppy and step on a button with the edge of your shoe, you'll step on another by accident. At just the right angle, you can step on a top and bottom button by accident, but again....gotta be pretty clumsy to do that.
