  • I'm going to do this with my cement 4s from 89, but Im too afraid to take them apart, so I guess I'm doing it whole.

  • Thanks for the info but how do I reattach the sole though

  • can i use the krylon matte finish after i paint the midsole with angelus leather paint? or can i only use it after its spray painted like this?

  • I RESTORED MY 1990 GRAPES. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO!

  • will it start to paint chip after a while

  • i recently picked up a pair of flint 12's as a restoration prject, and one of the major problems is that part of the heel on both shoes is torn off completely, any suggestions on how to sole swap or what else there is to do?

  • yall should get a tri pod for your camera itd be a nice touch

  • will the paint crack after a few times wearing the shoes

  • Where can you buy meltonian Spray besides on online? and can you substitute Meltonian and just use Krylon spray paint?

  • Hi, i saw your video and was impress on how you fixed the shoes,I have the retro 4 in white and red and the midsole is cracking.I was wondering if you could fix'em for me since you have the experience i'll pay you.Hit me up whenever you can. thanks!

  • When you painted the bottom portion white, what did you to cover the airbubble?

  • I want a black sole on my cough drops help please

  • Emmettleeb used to watch videos before he commented, but then he'll take a bullet to the knee *pulls out gun*

  • What paint did you use for the white part of the midsole?

  • Hey I bought the sc-2 in yellow but at bottom the white part is starting to peel if. I really like the shoes any advise on how I could make them look good again ? I would really appreciate it

  • @restoremysneakers, thanks for the tips cause them shit really came in handy, and f**k dat dude Emmettleeb, kept making these videos and kept up the good!

  • @restoremysneakers When will you guys make a video about this process vs. the angelus method?

  • @Emmettleeb Recently, these 2 guys don't have time to like they use to anymore to make these great videos due to their new work schedules. They can only make these videos during the weekends. Think about that before calling them "typical spoiled hypebeasts."

  • will this work with raging bull 5s? please tell me i really want to do it but dont know if i should buy it on ebay or not?

  • @Emmettleeb Maybe you should follow our other videos before making a comment, smh. There's a reason for it. It's called a midsole swap. - the camera guy

  • what would be better for 3s this process or actual angelus paint? Thanks!

  • Don't forget to wear a Gas Mask! haha.

  • Guys you could use Nike Air Flight 89 Sole as donor. Those have exactly the same sole but much cheapper, also those have nike on the bottom sole instead of jumpman which is even better.

  • @ThaBalla88 Lol I thought the same thing! I saw kid's at my school wearing them and always thought about it,but the 4's looked fatter to me. Never measured. Thanks!

  • @ThaBalla88 No, thats the outsole part that has nike on the bottom. They just need the midsole. The air flight 89 would still work though

  • What about the Cement 4 midsoles? Figure out that yet?

  • Have you ever tried doing custom shoes like mizzeecustoms?

  • how can i take the mid sole off the air jordan 6s? can you guys make a video or something?

  • How do you repair a toe box on air Jordan 1 because mine is all torn up

  • I don't see what's wrong with having it it a tad glossy.

  • Would this technic and spray cans work on leather or is there a different process for this.

  • @gnvgs14

    IT WOULD RUIN THE LEATHER

  • Wow hey would you say this is better or at least quicker then doing

    The anglus paint method

  • @Dopeboifresh500 on a separated midsole, any spray paint is faster than angelus. If you're repainting on a midsole that's still attached to a shoe, I would say it's the same due to the amount of masking required with spray painting.

  • You guys are so innovative! there's always a new way to restore instead of rementioning what some one has already said :) that's what's dope about you guys! Btw, please make a video of a 1 or 2 week update of sneakers you've worn and repainted using this method

  • Make a video using real paint like angelus ?

  • does the paint chip easily? cos I have a pair of repainted 2003 White Cement III's and I just wore them the first time and they're chipping like crazy already. I was wondering how this was.

  • Dope vid!! can't wait for the next one

  • We will address the repaint process in an upcoming video with some of your concerns and questions about the process. - the camera guy

  • Would like to see a video of how these wear restore

  • fresh

  • Absolutely nothing to dislike about the video. What happened with the shiner midsole though? Did you have to re-tape and spray with matte finish?

  • So one coat is all you need? Don't need to do a double coat or nothing?

  • That came out good but I've tried 10+ different kind of sprays and they all chip within at least 3 wears.. Have you guys considered trying the paint that is used to paint the white on white wall tires? It is extremely flexible and never cracks but I don't know if it will stick to the midsole correctly.. Try it out

  • DAMN!!!THATS ON POINT!!!PROPS!!!

  • That krylons gonna crack bro

  • @soyloco516 werrdd lol

  • @soyloco516 all paint cracks bruh, even factory paint.

  • @saceboi yes but it takes a couple of wears for it to happen. Instantly, after about 5 steps the krylon will begin to crack on about 85% of where ever it was sprayed. It's a WOOD finisher which means its made to sit on a wooden surface. Spraying it on an area that will be flexing and under pressure causes it to instantly crack. I've used it on my Bordeaux 7's to try and remove the gloss and it cracked on me instantly after walking in them.

  • FUCKIN AMAZING

  • :) :) :)

  • Are you gonna try to even out the glossy shine on the shoes? The shoe on the right was definately shinier

  • such a good resto

  • Oh and i've heard of Nu-Life peeling and cracking over time.

  • before you guys glue the midsoles back together. Test the strength of the color spray by bending the midsoles in a realistic matter. There's no point in going through with this struggle if they'll just end up cracking in the first wear.
