Maybe I am missing something, but the judges got it wrong....The Top 3 was fine but the winner should have been Georgia with Texas being 1st runner up and California being 2nd runner up

Ditto Princessum. California was not top fave in appearance. The only ones posting that she deserve to win on here are family and friends of hers. She was not articulate and tried hard to enunciate every word and over thought her answers that she sounded fake and unnatural.

Actually it was rumored that Guyrex knew who the judges were before hand and wooed them with expensive gifts and favors. I only think two of the Texas Aces actually deserved the crown outright and that is Gibbs, and Fitchner.

That may be true, but The only year I believe Texas did not deserve to win Miss USA is 1987 and she did not deserve to finish so far at Miss Universe 1987 either, but that would of messed up the Texas 5 winning streak.Miss USA 1988 deserved to reach further at Miss Universe 1988, but 1988 was a competative Asian domination year though!

"...washing machine throwing contests...outhouse on wheel races..." making dumb shit they do in Texas everyday seem relevant. Miss California Kelly Parsons was infinitely more poised...and not to mention Miss Ohio Halle Berry...both were robbed in favor of a dumb Texan with liver spots. I agree that Miss Oh should have won.But in Christy's defense, she only responded to Bob Barker asking her what she did as Miss Texas-USA. Both Christy and Courtney were pretty with their hair up. Their hair down and they both looked like any other girl on the street. Average.
