Excellent post. I saw SRV in a very small venue, less than 150 people in the beginning of his career. Other than seeing Elvis twice, one of the best live performances I've had the privelage of experiencing in my life. The great ones are always taken away to soon...

CONNIE - You know when Stevie was alive I had a chance to see him in Amarillo, TX and didn't go - Not more than I believe a month later he was gone. Now I see and hear and feel why Stevie and his music was so loved!
