Some Lybian police and armed forces' members, of all ranks and branches, have defected and joined the revolution. But it doesn't look like they're enough of them. Most of the rebels are liberal professions (doctors, lawyers) teachers, bankers. Others are students, construction workers, etc. But most of those volunteers have no military experience, have the guts, but just not enough training.
What the rebels need are drill qualified officers, commanding officers and staffs to train, command lead them into battle the most efficient way possible.

Some Lybian police and armed forces' members, of all ranks and branches, have defected and joined the revolution. But it doesn't look like they're enough of them. Most of the rebels are liberal professions (doctors, lawyers) teachers, bankers. Others are students, construction workers, etc. But most of those volunteers have no military experience, have the guts, but just not enough training.
