But one question.: How come the people perher other Super mario Bros. over Bubble bobble? Even today that people perher modren games. Like COD,Halo, Etc.

Know what I just realized? I've never even played an Amiga, and yet here I am listening to yet another version of the Bubble Bobble theme. I think I'm a little obsessed.

Definitely one of the better versions I've heard. I especially like how they did the little part at the very beginning before the main riff kicks in.

amiga had better hardware and it was great for games ...but ...about as far as music goes...

computers couldn't make decent music back then...the only way was hardware samplers and synthesizers...

and you needed a sequencer to control these things through midi....so in terms of music atari st has gone as far as 2010 and amiga as far as 1994...FatBoy Slim,chemical Brothers and many others would confirm that.Because some of them use ataris(8MHz) even today.

It's awesome how the atari has lasted through the ages and contributed so much to electronica in recent years... particularly since there's been an 8-bit revival with the likes of Crystal Castles, Puppet Master and Anamaguchi. Personally, I just have a preference over Amiga game soundtrack versions to Atari ones... just because of the level of variation in Amiga music. But hey, that's just like my opinion man! ;-) Either way, nothing compares to those old machines!

BUBBLE BOBBLE was an AWESOME port on the Amiga. I run it through the original arcade ROM via MAME and the Amiga version was soooooooooo close! Amazing programmers back then!
