Your videos have helped me a great deal. :) I just turned 26 & had a double mastectomy w/ expanders put in last week Dec. 8th. I watched your videos before hand to prepare myself. Eeek! Thanks so much! God bless :)
U have helped me more than u will ever know. I found out I had breast cancer n May of this yr. I was so scared. Let alone the fact they wanted 2 take my breast. I'm 31 & emotional roller coaster doesn't even begin 2 describe how I felt. Then I came across your video on youtube. I watched all I could find about u & your journey. Your videos helped me so much. I went through with the surgery & I am now cancer free. I had my last expantion today. U r an amazing woman & truely my hero.
We noticed you winced abit regarding the left side. Is the feeling now returning to the breast and how would you rate on a scale from 1-5 at this visit the sensitivity compared to pre-op feeling? ( i guess considering 5 being 100% normal) .
Have you lost the numbness you discussed entirely yet?
Thanks so much for your postings this is so extremely helpful in making decisions.
Hi there, thanks so much for the question, it is a very good one. I still have absolutely no feeling in the SKIN, on either side. The nerves to the skin are gone, but should grow back. The pain that I felt, and the remaining feeling, is in the muscles. The needle punctures the muscle and sometimes hurts. But if I am touched, or bumped, or anything lightly, I do not feel it at all. Must be careful of injury. Visit my site and write more! 500 characters is hard! :)
brilliant! You finally got around to putting it on?! LOL. Your PS seems really nice. Very reassuring and friendly. Glad we didn't see the stitched being cut out! =o

These are all excellent. I DO think the the doctor should have re-gloved after opening the door.
