But if that's not enough for you, your Quran says that you ought to respect the injil. Surat 5:46, & Surat 7:157. Your "prophet" mohammed confirms that the injil is the word of god, so if you don't like it, maybe you should question your Qu'ran.
@Mythik88 Like I said, the Injil is not the New Testament. It is not the doctrine of forgiveness by blood. The Qur'an contradicts all that. The New Testament is mainly books of Paul and other anonymous writers. The Qur'an never endorsed that.
"And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous."
"And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient."
@webdawah That's not true, where are you getting this? Jesus wasn't given anything. The gospels are written accounts of Jesus, which were written BY Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And I can assure you, unlike what you guys claim, the bible has not been corrupted. The Dead Sea Scrolls shows this. But if it is true, we're back to where we left off. Attack the bible, Islam is false. Don't attack the bible, Islam is also false.
@Mythik88 "Gospel" literally means good news. Which will be better categorized as good news? The message of Jesus, or the story written about 3 years of his life? There are quotes of influential people still used, and imbibed today, because their message is more important than the story of their lives.
It is not what somebody said about the Bible being corrupted, it is the proof in the book itself. Look for "Dubious Writings" on youtube. It will show you a few.
@webdawah I gave you Surat 5:46 & 5:47, and I could've given you Surat 5:48 but there isn't enough room on this comment:
"And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method."
@Mythik88 You always miss the fact that the verse which point to the Bible have phrases like " confirming that which preceded it OF THE SCRIPTURE." Reference to the part that is revelation, not the part that is human influenced. You are the one who quoted it, did you not read it?
@webdawah What other scriptures can they be talking about?! Your objection is the semantic meaning of the word "Gospel". The "Gospel" is the written account of the life of Jesus christ and the "Good News" message of the New Testament. So the "Gospel" IS the new testament.
@Mythik88 Surat 7:157 "Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them..."
@webdawah The bible and the Torah is a criterion over the Quran. You attack the bible or the Torah, you attack the Quran. The life of Jesus is important, because he is the one who has lived without sin.
As for the corruption, I've already told you about the cross reference between the bible of today and the Dead Sea Scrolls. There has been no evidence of tampering.
If I am to accept the bible has been corrupted and embrace Islam, how about your Quran? Has that been properly preserved?
@Mythik88 The Dead Sea Scrolls does not confirm anything. The Bible was canonized with document of which the Dead Sea Scrolls have the same information. That does not mean that by default it must be accurate. Why only four gospels? What about the other gospels written by others? Of all 12 disciples, how come only four saw what was going on(which I don't believe they were the real authors).
@webdawah You say the Bible has been corrupted. Well, as far as accepting Islam goes, your Quran says that you need to refer to the bible (and the Torah), if theres some passages that are unclear. If the bible is corrupted, that means the Quran is flawed as well.
Again, what about your Quran? Are you telling me that your Quran is more uncorrupted than the bible? How? Is it properly preserved? Does it not contradict? What makes Islam better than Christianity?
@Mythik88 "your Quran says that you need to refer to the bible (and the Torah), if theres some passages that are unclear." That's inaccurate, it says that the Prophet should ask the Jews if he had any doubt about what was being revealed to him about earlier Scriptures. For those who say he copied the Bible, that goes to show that he didn't even know what was in there.
@webdawah "For those who say he copied the Bible, that goes to show that he didn't even know what was in there" I never said that he copied the bible.
Again, Surat 5:47 "And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient."
OK, so I've watched the video like you've asked, Interesting story, but it's a distortion. Do you know what the concept of sacrifice is? Do you know what a covenant is? I could tell you about it in the other video. But I don't see your connection you're trying to weave with christianity.
@Mythik88 OK, I did say it's a distortion, but I never said that YOU made a distortion. Unless you are saying that's your voice. Which brings us back to the question. I still don't see the parallels you are trying to make.
@webdawah No. The story says that father was angry and took his anger out on the good brother. God indeed gets angry, but the difference is that god doesn't allow his anger to influence gods' acts. What about Allah? The story of the children being bad is a misrepresentation. The Israelites refused to accept the truth of Jesus being the Messiah. God didn't kill Jesus, the Jews did, the romans did. They executed Jesus for blasphemy. Something you left out.
@webdawah Also something you left out, is the price of sin. Price of sin is death. What wasn't included in this story is what Jesus said on the cross "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do". God didn't command the Jews to kill jesus. The Jews wanted to kill Jesus because they say he committed BLASPHEMY. So the brothers wanted to torture the good brother because the good brother says he's PERFECT and a GOOD SON.
@webdawah ....yeah, using your analogy, the brothers were not instructed. The "5 bad brothers" wanted to kill the "good brother" because the "good brother" says he is the father's favorite son. The "father" says "OK, I love you, but the way your 5 brothers are going, is going to hell. Somebody has to take the punishment, so it's either you or the 5 brothers. If you take the punishment, we all might be saved. THey take the punishment, I may never see the 5 boys again."
This was not mohamed who gave his life to save the world, this was someone no one know nothing about (name tribe or any info) actually it did not exist.
mohamed can never ever take JESUS's place for all humanity..... no way no how
So stop these empty stories and get to the real thing, (JESUS the SON OF GOD)

The whole thing escapes you. Your portrayal of God as a bloodthirsty vindictive being who does not have the power to forgive, until he enjoys some form of bloodletting does not seem to perturb you.
This is an extreme extrapolation, actually a grotesque caricature, of one version of Christian atonement theory. The base analogy for this version of atonement theory partly captures what the Bible wishes to convey but like all analogies, it limps. You picked the part that limps. This particular theory fell out of favor in Catholicism a long time ago (BECAUSE divine sadism is implied by the base analogy) & is still used only by some unsophisticated Protestants.
A good reason to leave the Christian family, very well presented. I have left.
But I will not join yours. Yours is the family who would punish my leaving with death. You, like them, believe that all sins will be forgiven. You believe if you commit an act of the utmost violence you will be rewarded for it, as the sons were.
There is only one god, and he is unworthy to lick my feet.
@rkyeun Its good you have some sense that you left such a irrational belief system
like Christianity. But dont you dare compare your misconception with ISLAMIC theology. We fight for freedom and that is a act of worship just like you would in your secular democratic west this is what we fight for in ISLAM so join us!
@rkyeun I did fly a plave to the kabbah and it showed me the freedom i was liberated from FOR one WHOLE MONTH, i didnt have to think about my house bills, my work, my day to day westernise problems. i was really liberated until i came back to the west because i couldnt get a visa....lol

What did I miss? What an awful, terrible video. The father and the 5 evil sons would not be forgiven for the murder of the 6th son.
"If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast them into the fire: and easy it is for Allah." An-Nisaa, verse 30.
There are many things in the Holy Quran which prohibit murder. Please explain to me what the point of this video is!
