Are you kidding me? this has to be the worst TNR I've ever seen, I got how he did it while watching him tear the second piece, I didn't even try to figure it out, it's just so obvious
Look at all the terrible magicians insisting this routine is the best because "it's impromptu". This is only the best rendition if "best" means "longest tearing phase". A decent performer could be done with a decent handling by the time this guy is done tearing up his card. I seriously doubt he's really tested this routine. If you insist on ending the trick in the worst possible way (tear up again and vanish) you might as well use Harris' handling. At least it isn't boring.
torn is better the restorations are more visual and u can give out that card at the end, which tells the audience that it wasn't a fake card. so whatif u need 2. the end of this one is a cop out, tricks that end in a production restoration leave the audience much more pleased and satisfied than with a trick that ends in disappearance or destruction. This trick cause the audience to be impressed and amazed, but in the back of their heads they are wondering where the card went! it has no closure!
It's fine to vanish an item without closure (reproducing it). Often it's better. But vanishing an object that's under intense heat and really should be examined (he makes a point of having it examined several times during the trick) is dumb and any normal audience will know exactly why the routine ended that way.
This routine is my favorite impromptu-routine done with a signed playing card. This is a perfect follow-up to my ambitious card routine, then I ditch the deck, and show them this routine with a very similar presentation as above. It kills.
you just have to practice the effect. You cant just try it a few times and then say its no good. What i do is just take a few cards with me where every i go and just practice all the time.Ive been working on it for about a week and i almost have it perfect.ican performe it for a spectator without getting cought but it isn't be perfect.trust me this is the best torn and restored card effects around.its impromptu,it has less angle problems. this effect is awesome. So atleast give it a chance.
i'll trade ANYTHING for reincardnation if you're willing to trade just name a trick if I have it i'll trade you ok? message me if you're interested plz

In my opinion, this is the most practical torn and restored up to date because the angle problems are very minimal and you're only using one card. I do not own this yet, but I have used Paul Harris's "Ultimate Ripoff" right after my ambitious card routine and it always gets me a reaction after I vanish the torn peice. I like reincardnation better because it flows much smoother into the vanish of the whole selection.
does he wanna cover the card with his hands unnecessarily more?
