Look, if you had one gun through the whole game (besides the beginning) you can use either the pulse rifle, or plasma on zealot (with everything upgraded) you can survive fairly easily with one or the other. Plasma sucks with packs, unless you have a fast trigger finger. I don't like using pulse in multiplayer, mainly because you can hardly do any damage to any necros. But they are both pretty good, but if I had to chose... I would chose plasma, because it is more accurate, and it's stronger.

The pulse rifle is good. and I think a good amount of people that say otherwise probably haven't even used it much. Put some nodes in it and you should see for yourself. You can carry alot of ammo with you too.

@MrOpenGamer in your opinion. I like the pulse rifle more because it gives me a sense of security. It is better then the plasma cutter when your facing more enemies . It may be a little weak at the start but when you upgrade it a bit it becomes a BEAST.
