Please, you must sing this song again and again until they can understand. One by one, our hope´s depositaries take the wrong way: Clinton first and Obama now, and who will be next? But, please sing this beautiful song, this is our only hope.......
James, James! What a mistake to think that these people and the Clintons are in anyway peacemakers. Stay away from this James, for it is foreign to you and what you do best.
His voice is always incredible. Few others in rock or folk can compare, maybe Paul Simon is a similar talent. In other words, even a bad Taylor or Simon song is a good song!
James...you are a musical jewel - polished and perfect in what you have given to us. No other artist existed who was like you prior to your first album and for that I consider you a genius. I'm happy that you have stuck with strictly who you are (musically) & not tried to give us songs that are not "you". I have my favorites as does everyone. I know of what I speak. If you want a listen, google Allus Cats and click.
This was so moving, a lovely and timely song for many places in the world. Jame's purely beautiful voice, his plaintive and honest performance, perfectly capture a timeless message. Thanks from Pakistan
A very good song indeed. And you, Jim, are a great peacemaker too. Keep singing and playing because people are still listening. Blessed are the peacemakers indeed - and those who have ears, listen to James Taylor. SAM SMALL
Simply marvelous James.

I love this song! It has lovely changes, a haunting and melancholy melody and James plays so beautifully!

Good to hear JT doing this, shame the sound is less than we've come to expect.Nancy Griffith does a similar themed song which is pretty good too.
