  • Simply marvelous James.

  • Dear James,

Please, you must sing this song again and again until they can understand. One by one, our hope´s depositaries take the wrong way: Clinton first and Obama now, and who will be next? But, please sing this beautiful song, this is our only hope.......

  • A wonderful version. Thank you James. Gitl

  • I've long loved this chilling song and it's a treat to see this raw performance done in this circumstance.

  • Stringbean on song as usual....great song

  • James, James! What a mistake to think that these people and the Clintons are in anyway peacemakers. Stay away from this James, for it is foreign to you and what you do best.

  • If I close my eyes...just as pristine the sounds as if sung on a CD in stereo...this song is very very moving. That's doggone James Taylor.

  • JTJTJTJTJT

  • His voice is always incredible. Few others in rock or folk can compare, maybe Paul Simon is a similar talent. In other words, even a bad Taylor or Simon song is a good song!

  • James...you are a musical jewel - polished and perfect in what you have given to us. No other artist existed who was like you prior to your first album and for that I consider you a genius. I'm happy that you have stuck with strictly who you are (musically) & not tried to give us songs that are not "you". I have my favorites as does everyone. I know of what I speak. If you want a listen, google Allus Cats and click.

  • I love this song! It has lovely changes, a haunting and melancholy melody and James plays so beautifully!

  • This was so moving, a lovely and timely song for many places in the world. Jame's purely beautiful voice, his plaintive and honest performance, perfectly capture a timeless message. Thanks from Pakistan

  • James quotes the Bible in this video. Is he a christian?

  • A very good song indeed. And you, Jim, are a great peacemaker too. Keep singing and playing because people are still listening. Blessed are the peacemakers indeed - and those who have ears, listen to James Taylor. SAM SMALL

  • Good to hear JT doing this, shame the sound is less than we've come to expect.Nancy Griffith does a similar themed song which is pretty good too.

  • Powerful lyric.. Thanks JT.

  • Terrible sound but he's the man. It is all beautifull. JT forever in my mind!

  • The ultimate minstrel bearing such a simple, but profound message! We love you James!

  • Goosebumps, chills, and tears. Thank you James, you are my hero.

love from Michelle "The Pineapple Maiden"

(Please come back to Portland or the NW)

  • Great to see you still singing from your heart.

  • God Bless you James Tayloer you music touches my heart.
