It isn't as good as blitzball was originally. However Final Fantasy X-2 has more realistic features such as blocking in relation to the direction of the pass. People in front of you could block a pass going behind you. wtf? , blocking in mid-pass, fatigue, and training. The only way to get better at blitzball in the first one was to play in the league or tournaments NOT exhibition. another wtf. so the computer teams would always get better faster for some reason.

That's because you don't actually play the sport like you do in final fantasy X. You are managing the team not playing the sport. I agree with you though. Blitzball was ALOT better in the first one.
blitzball in ffx-2 is plain dumb. No player control, which means sometimes the players do retarded things like pass with a 10 when the other player has 20 blk, or swim away when they have a clear shot.
I like blitzball in ffx better...

Those "stupid things" are what makes it more realistic where in real life, sometimes a player DOES do stupid things.
