There is no inappropriate place to breast-feed your baby. I have seen women breast-feeding their babies in a mall and they really look maternal, just beautiful!
This is great encouragement and true advice for women having children. I personally love breastfeeding. It has been a journey, but well worth it. And yes I feed my daughter in public, uncovered, whenever she needs it. It's my right and my business.
I love the no period thing! My baby is a week over 1 year old and I still have not had a period yet, thanks to breastfeeding! Talk about your money savings just from not buying tampons and pads, let alone formula and bottle equipment!

This is a video about breastfeeding. But yet the hottie in the thumbnail has BIG BOOBS that I wanna inset my dick into the cleavage of! I also wanna cum all over as if there was no tomorrow. My gay friends are gonna buttfuck me at the same time since orgies just intensify to an extent to where Larry Craig could just give a blumpkin in an airport bathroom until another political scandal occurs when people say "I da hoe", seeing Larry Craig is from that state.
It is sad to me that there have had to be campaigns like this because people are so against breast feeding. Jeez. The United States is SOOOOOO obsessed with boobs, except when it is attached to an infant. Why is that? Oh, and, it's free. FREE is what I understood when I was a single mother in college and struggling....I worked with breastfeeding because it was FREE. The other stuff ~ the better health, the weight, etc. ~ was just a bonus.

THE GOVERNMENT ARE LYING TO YOU WHEN THEY DON'T ADMIT WHEN BREASTFEEDING CAUSES SEXUAL AROUSAL AND LUST from the fondling and suckling of the breasts and erected nipples by a baby or child, it becomes a COMBINATION OF FEEDING AND PEDOPHILIA and the government DENY this because they know pedophilia is ILLEGAL.
My own mother was my biggest hater when it came to breastfeeding my first child. She was always criticizing me about my son getting enough to eat and how I was being selfish not letting others bond with him by bottle feeding. It was so annoying! My son was a fat healthy baby who didn't spit up, didn't have gas, didn't have smelly poops, and didn't get his first cold or ear infection until I stopped breastfeeding. Don't let haters discourage you from doing what you know is right for your child.
@MahBoi22 And if more would do it out in public, we could change the social stigma and save lives. It's only considered 'gross' because it's so uncommon and we've sexualized breasts so much, no one realizes what they're actually supposed to be used for. In other countries, it's only the weird Americans who gawk and stare at breastfeeding women. They think we're the perverts.
Not even going to bother responding to ignorant twits...
But my one comment is that there are no benefits to breastfeeding: BREAST is NOT BEST...BREAST is NORMAL! Formula is an artificial substitute...McDonald's for newborns. Sure, you can survive on it, some even thrive, but it's not the standard to compare to. Formula companies are more than happy to say breast is best...but formula is good enough. I say breast is good enough, formula isn't as good and carries health RISKS.
But are they only for babies? Or also for toddlers?
That is wat I missed in this video.
ATM I'm nursing my 2 y/o (25 months), and I stopped talking openly about it, because for a lot of people it's weird because they dont know it. We lost the knowlegde about breastfeeding. I didnt know a lot about it myself when I had my baby; I have learned a lot since then.
I do stil nurse in public sometimes because I can be a rolemodel perhaps; and I do still talk about it; but it feels more difficult.
I nurse my 9 month old and it has been wonderful. I wouldn't choose anything else. As to dannyboy's comments about pumping before going out, my question is WHY? Have you personally ever pumped milk? It is a pain in the behind. I will not do it for other people's convenience. Breastfeeding is 100% natural and the best way to feed my child, if it makes you uncomfortable, that is your problem, not mine.
So, women talk about something natural and ‘duh, of course’ via electronical way, because people feed their kids with something out of a container? Isn’t that a mark on the wall of a total out of balance and insane society? Like, no that smiling clown at Mc Donalds doesn’t mean something healthy. No, those smiling faces on TV mean that that company want nothing else than good for you. It means that you have to gain real knowledge and think for your self.

@ninivenne How exactly is BF NOT free? And of course you were fatter while breastfeeding. YOU HAD JUST HAD A BABY! It takes time to lose the belly. I'm just down to my PP size 7 months after birth.

@ninivenne actually, yes - it DOES make you an oddity. i don't know what you were spending your money on, but i'm still part-time nursing my 4yr old. total cost over her entire life? zip - zilch - nada. costs me more to donate the stuff. if you were fatter while breastfeeding, hate to break it to you, but you were stuffing your face too much. simple mathematics: eat more than you burn, you gain weight.
I put the needs of a hungry baby over the sensitivity of an ignorant adult ANY time!! The USA has one of the lower percentage rates of breastfeeding mothers than the rest of the world... and Americans happen to be more obese as well. I'm not going to flaunt it, but I'm sure not running to a bathroom to hide it either. I'm PROUD to be doing what is BEST for my baby.
Many times babies don't latch because they have a upper cervical spinal misalignment. It isn't the only reason, but please have your baby checked by a chiropractor if you are having difficulty breastfeeding. (If you have never heard of this before, the baby is adjusted VERY differently than an adult).
I never understood why breastfeeding was so controversial. It IS why we have boobs! its FREE, well the video expressed all the reasons. I just don't get why people are so against it. Its the natural and BEST thing to do.
I AGREEE shrrlygrrl!!! you have it right on the dot!! same with you afroshclan :) to dannyboy : nothing is the same or at it's best when it doesn't come from it's natural source. It applies to pretty much EVERYTHING. Breast Milk does NOT have the exact nutritional value after it's been frozen and thawed. It comes close but not the same. What makes you think we LOVE breastfeeding in public? we do this out of love and selflessness for our children and for their health and comfort.
I care about the health of my child more than about the sensitivities of a random stranger. I use a cover but will not apologize if someone happens to get a flash of skin or nipple. I will feed my child when he is hungry and I will do it from the breast. When babies are born they are immune-compromised. Being breastfed, and the skin to skin contact that entails helps the baby to be colonized by the mother's beneficial bacteria & antibodies. BREAST is BEST.
@dannyboy to previous comment: because it made her feel so miserable she wouldn't take it anymore, she refused. I am not against putting milk in a bottle here and there. it's more convenient for us mothers when we need a babysitter. but some babies, it just doesn't work. That was my case. Just like when you juice fruit, it's best to be taken immediately. not to wait for a while. It is better for our babies to take it fresh. why should we make our babies uncomfortable for your convenience?
@dannyboy Here are some reasons as to why some of us don't like using a bottle. 1st the milk is not as it best after sitting in a bottle waiting to be taken. Our babies get more nutrients and benefits when they take it from the boob. 2nd most babies get gas and are uncomfortable when taking a bottle, my daughter would scream after taking a bottle because it gave her air bubbles, and I tried to buy all sorts of different bottles to try to help it. but none worked. It's just more natural for them
@dannyboy comment to previous: I have never seen one women out of the thousands I see that breastfeed not use something to cover up. The only time I haven't is in my own home. If this is what bothers you get over it. There is nothing wrong with what we do and where we do it. but I do think it's more polite and comfortable for others if we covered while doing it. but again I don't know of one women who wants the whole public to see her bare chest. so don't like it don't look.
@dannyboy, I believe you are the one who doesn't give a flip about anyone but yourself. You are the one who doesn't want to see it. you think we women who are feeding our babies the right nutrients in the god given way is wrong and that we should be confined to a inconvenient space to feed, because YOU don't want to look. it's not like we are flashing our boobies at you. I'm sure most of us don't want you looking at our bare boobs. That's why we use blankets and hooter hiders.

@camillacoy1 Ok, where shall i begin. First off bottled milk is perfectly healthy and even frozen and thawed has the EXACT nutritional value as the milk recieved from the breast. Secondly, convienience isnt a good excuse to do whatever ya like. This is just another case of a woman who doesnt give a crap about anyone else who may be put off by this. Third, I have seen woman that have not had the courtesy to cover up and just because you may do so doesnt mean that everyone else will as well.
@dannyboy15157 "bottled milk is perfectly healthy and even frozen and thawed has the EXACT nutritional value as the milk recieved from the breast." NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same nutritional value.
@dannyboy15157 check your facts...you commented that you want people to have valid points when talking to you...but you need to fact check. Breast milk put in the fridge or freezer does not have the same nutritional value as immediately from the breast. 2. Breastfeeding is not always easy or convenient, especially in America where we're made to feel gross and that we have to hide what we're doing. 3. Don't look. It's their choice to feed...and yours to look away. Be a big boy.
Also, Breast Feeding makes your baby smarter! Human Breast milk contains a high amount of DHA that increases brain activity and is an important nutrient to neurons.
This is an awesome video! I breastfeed my baby girl and she is so healthy and strong! This is what our boobies are for..plus pleasing our husbands..lol :) This is what god gave us to feed and nurture our babies with ultimate health. I do think it is sad that women don't breast feed their babies because more do to selfish reasons. I understand if by some reason a women can't produce enough milk, then yes their other things that can help such as formula. But their are too many women giving up!
how about instead of going thru all this trouble, get on birth control, and save the world trillions of dollars a year in health care. Or better yet just get an abortion, its fun.
@afroschlan Obviously me disagreeing with public breast feeding is proof that me and my mother have issues. I mean really, why else would anyone ever have a different opinion than yours on this issue unless there were some underlying mommy issues.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@afroschlan Fear not I'm pefectly calm :) And i disagree with it for the same reasons public urination is not smiled upon. Many people dont want to see it and there are many oportunities to avoid it and not harm your child at all. Bottle it. My wife used a breast pump and my child is perfecly happy and healthy. Take the child to a family rest room if you dont want to bottle it. There are several ways to occomplish this task without just feeding wherever you please. Be considerate of others.
@dannyboy15157 I'm not going to go as far as to compare breast feeding in public to urination, but touché. The problem with this whole "why don't they just organize themselves better" notion is that not all people are good at that. Worst case scenario is that the bottle is forgotten and someone has to make a choice.. a) feed the offspring b) starve the offspring, reasons: To not offend others.. it just doesn't sound all that noble. Logical conclusion (+ -), allow breastfeeding.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@afroschlan It doesnt take a ton of organizational skills to bottle milk. And again there are ALWAYS other option available. Use the family rest room if remembering to bring milk in a bottle is too difficult for you to do. Listen, we live in a society where many natural things are prohibited. I really dont see any issue with women respecting the fact that MANY people do not wish to see this in public.
@dannyboy15157 We can't go on respecting every whim there is. Bare in mind that these are the times of religion the largest collection of moronic restrictions known to man where almost everything human is prohibited in one way or another. We can't always respect people's opinions, sometimes we just have to be the bigger person, bite our lip and let people do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt us, or others, physically or financially. That's what being a grown up means ;)
@afroschlan Your definition of being a grown up is comical. Do what ever ya like and those who disagree be damned huh. I am quite happy with my level of maturity, perhaps a little self exploration of your own is in order.
@dannyboy15157 Yes, that's exactly my comment, down to the core ;) And while we're on it, why not slap weaponry in the mix for the entire anarchy experience? What exactly annoys you with breast feeding in public?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@afroschlan I have made my stance and reasonings very clear, repeating them is simply a waste of time. I have shut down every arguement that you tried to bring to the table. Your failures at having a substantial arguement always bring out sarcastic flippant comments that simply add nothing to the discussion. I would like to reserve any future comments for someone that can actually challenge my beliefs on the subject rather than rehashing my points time and time again.
Simply put, if you don't like it then don't look!! This video isn't about people who are anti-breastfeeding, it is pro-breastfeeding, so take your negative comments elsewhere!
@dannyboy15157 As you demand consideration from women who are doing something perfectly normal and natural, why don't you just show consideration towards them instead? Does this whole consideration theme of yours only work one way, towards you? What exactly, and hopefully this time you'll answer the question, annoys you with the natural act of breast feeding in public?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@BLAKEHCHOW Again for the new person, there are private areas to feed your child. I dont have to get over anything. Please be the first person that i have discussed this topic with have some valid point. People who advocate this always pick one example to bash but never fully answer the question. THERE ARE OTHER ALTERNATIVES. The painfull truth here is that you just dont give a flip about anyone but yourself.
@dannyboy15157 yes, there are alternatives. however, breastfeeding is just as legal as the alternatives that you're suggesting. regarding women who do it in public, think of it as something common as sneezing. you don't go to the washroom just to sneeze. you can do it ANYWHERE.society puts an unnecessary stigma on breastfeeding which is why women cover up their breasts. sometimes men don't cover their chests right? and it's completely okay because society didn't put a stigma on it. ._____.
@humzification yes it is involuntary. that's because when you sneeze, you have to excrete something unwanted inside you're nasal passage: it's a need. breastfeeding a baby is also a need for the baby because they need nutrition: which is also a need.
@dannyboy15157 Breastfeeding isn't just about the milk itself. The breastfeeding process is a bonding experience between mother and child. Sometimes, babies need to be at the breast for comfort - and NO, a pacifier is not the same.
How about I supply you with the risks (yes risks) of NOT breastfeeding:
@dannyboy15157 Here's some more risks in NOT breastfeeding:
for mother, increased risk:
postpartum bleeding
osteoporosis
ovarian & uterine cancer
post menopausal breast cancer
obesity
Bottom line is that our bodies were made for feeding our babies when they are hungry. Delaying that cue by fixing a bottle is breaking a trust bond with baby.
I'm not bashing moms who are unable to breastfeed, or have to pump because of medical or even work issues, but if possible - breast is best.
One thing to point out though, the "Breastfeeding reduces ..." lines should really be "Formula feeding increases ..." We need to normalize breastfeeding in our vocabulary before it will become normal in our society.
Nursed my two everywhere for years. Back then, we emphasized being discreet, which was easy enough, even when waiting in line at Disney World. You become a pro very fast! Re pros, check out 1-800-LALECHE or La Leche League on the web for up-to-date info. and in-person mother-to-mother help at local meetings or on the phone, 24 hours a day.
Thanks for promoting nursing, definitely a peak mothering experience!
Awesome! I love "it's what your tits are for!" To clarify the "never sick" expectation some parents have: nothing can ever guarantee perfect health. Breastmilk provides the best immunological support possible & formula puts babies at an immunological disadvantage. BUT there are lots of other factors involved, like genetics, frequency of exposure, other health factors. Know that your baby might get a cold now and then. Definitely nurse your baby, and have realistic expectations!
I have but one thing to say about this video: OMG AWESOME!!

It is better for our babies to take it fresh. why should we make our babies uncomfortable for your convenience?
camillacoy1 1 year ago 2

There is nothing wrong with what we do and where we do it. but I do think it's more polite and comfortable for others if we covered while doing it. but again I don't know of one women who wants the whole public to see her bare chest. so don't like it don't look.
camillacoy1 1 year ago

But their are too many women giving up!

afroschlan 1 year ago
@afroschlan Obviously me disagreeing with public breast feeding is proof that me and my mother have issues. I mean really, why else would anyone ever have a different opinion than yours on this issue unless there were some underlying mommy issues.

@dannyboy15157 It was a an attempt of humor, relax ;) Any particular reason why you object to natural feeding of offspring amongst fellow humans?

@afroschlan Fear not I'm pefectly calm :) And i disagree with it for the same reasons public urination is not smiled upon. Many people dont want to see it and there are many oportunities to avoid it and not harm your child at all. Bottle it. My wife used a breast pump and my child is perfecly happy and healthy. Take the child to a family rest room if you dont want to bottle it. There are several ways to occomplish this task without just feeding wherever you please. Be considerate of others.
dannyboy15157 1 year ago
@dannyboy15157 I'm not going to go as far as to compare breast feeding in public to urination, but touché. The problem with this whole "why don't they just organize themselves better" notion is that not all people are good at that. Worst case scenario is that the bottle is forgotten and someone has to make a choice.. a) feed the offspring b) starve the offspring, reasons: To not offend others.. it just doesn't sound all that noble. Logical conclusion (+ -), allow breastfeeding.

@afroschlan It doesnt take a ton of organizational skills to bottle milk. And again there are ALWAYS other option available. Use the family rest room if remembering to bring milk in a bottle is too difficult for you to do. Listen, we live in a society where many natural things are prohibited. I really dont see any issue with women respecting the fact that MANY people do not wish to see this in public.
dannyboy15157 1 year ago
@dannyboy15157 We can't go on respecting every whim there is. Bare in mind that these are the times of religion the largest collection of moronic restrictions known to man where almost everything human is prohibited in one way or another. We can't always respect people's opinions, sometimes we just have to be the bigger person, bite our lip and let people do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt us, or others, physically or financially. That's what being a grown up means ;)
afroschlan 1 year ago
@afroschlan Your definition of being a grown up is comical. Do what ever ya like and those who disagree be damned huh. I am quite happy with my level of maturity, perhaps a little self exploration of your own is in order.
dannyboy15157 1 year ago
@dannyboy15157 Yes, that's exactly my comment, down to the core ;) And while we're on it, why not slap weaponry in the mix for the entire anarchy experience? What exactly annoys you with breast feeding in public?

@afroschlan I have made my stance and reasonings very clear, repeating them is simply a waste of time. I have shut down every arguement that you tried to bring to the table. Your failures at having a substantial arguement always bring out sarcastic flippant comments that simply add nothing to the discussion. I would like to reserve any future comments for someone that can actually challenge my beliefs on the subject rather than rehashing my points time and time again.

@BLAKEHCHOW Again for the new person, there are private areas to feed your child. I dont have to get over anything. Please be the first person that i have discussed this topic with have some valid point. People who advocate this always pick one example to bash but never fully answer the question. THERE ARE OTHER ALTERNATIVES. The painfull truth here is that you just dont give a flip about anyone but yourself.
dannyboy15157 1 year ago
@dannyboy15157 yes, there are alternatives. however, breastfeeding is just as legal as the alternatives that you're suggesting. regarding women who do it in public, think of it as something common as sneezing. you don't go to the washroom just to sneeze. you can do it ANYWHERE.society puts an unnecessary stigma on breastfeeding which is why women cover up their breasts. sometimes men don't cover their chests right? and it's completely okay because society didn't put a stigma on it. ._____.
blackstain69 1 year ago
@blackstain69 Umm.. you can't really compare sneezing to breastfeeding because sneezes are largely involuntary
humzification 1 year ago
@humzification yes it is involuntary. that's because when you sneeze, you have to excrete something unwanted inside you're nasal passage: it's a need. breastfeeding a baby is also a need for the baby because they need nutrition: which is also a need.
blackstain69 1 year ago
@dannyboy15157 Breastfeeding isn't just about the milk itself. The breastfeeding process is a bonding experience between mother and child. Sometimes, babies need to be at the breast for comfort - and NO, a pacifier is not the same.
How about I supply you with the risks (yes risks) of NOT breastfeeding:
for baby:
increased infectional diseases
increased ear infections
increase in obesity
increase respiratory illness
increase allergies
increase risks of SIDS
choltorf 1 year ago 4
