I disagree with Bellhorn25, this is ONE OF THE BEST ZOMBIE movies made. I'm a zombie fanatic and this is scary as hell. I love Bub, kinda felt sorry for him.
...What? It wasn't a machine that was filled with blood when he blew the head off...It was a foam head, that Savini filled with condoms, apple cores and fake blood. Which HE blew off with a SHOT GUN. Please, get some facts before you review this.
Dawn was made is 1978....also the black and white Night of the Living Dead is on blu ray. The 1990 re-make of Night, which is also great, is not on blu ray yet though.
Night of the Living Dead is not licensed so you can legally download it. Hulu may even still have it on their site.
As for the review, mmm, I think you could of done a much better job. I feel sort of insulted by your review. I love the Zombie Genre and you definitely didn't do this movie justice.
Dude, just because NOTLD is in B&W doesn't mean it won't be released anytime soon! It's a seminal piece of cult cinema, has a huge fan-base and loved by countless critics and was the basis for all the zombie movies that followed! (not just the fanboys and wanna-be critics on here)! The original flesh-eating "Dead" movie of them all!
i would have liked to know if there any specail features, or new blu ray content they added, also i wanted to know, was this the full vwersion of the movie, such as, did it show 'flyboy' in the lil shack right before they leave the city, where theres a dead body, and he radios the ppl telling them that the operator is dead and the post abanded... they cut that and a few other scenes when anchor bay did their dvd verion a few years ago...
