There are safer SSRI'S than Prozac it is a very dangerous drug, I nearly cut my wrists on it, or why not try exercise its proven to be just as effective as any antidepressants.
this drug made my mood erratic and atttemp suicide. this in general is very dangerous. why do people want to be numbed by dangerous chemicals? i was depressed got real help dealing with the emotions not covering them up
Mark his words when he says "don't drink alcohol"! When Fluoxetine is mixed with alcohol, it gets you drunk twice as fast as you would normally. I've ended up doing really stupid things when mixing the two 'cos I just didn't know my limits anymore. Your alcohol limits change on Fluoxetine so if you do drink, stick to one or two units.
Well SSRI's might be great if you have a woman.But 90% of men that take SSRI's have their nuts cut off.I was on Prozac for 5 years and I had enough of being a eunich.If you are having any kind of male sexual problems on this class of drugs Wellbutrin a a good alternative.Since i swittched my sex life is back to normal.Maybe I shouldn"t have said that.You know it might give the fridged wives out there some ideas like spiking the husbans and boyfreinds drinks

the withdrawals are so bad, people kill themselves (and not from original "depression") I was never depressed, i had an eating disorder,trying to get off of it, i had depression, anxiety, agression, memory loss, electric shock sensations, muscle spasms, and movement disorders, fainting, I have suffered severe permanent neurological damage from getting off of prozac. some people can go psychotic coming off it. If nothing else, all of thats enough to make u kill yourself.
i dont feel a thing with 20mg , i still feel rather lousy with my mood ...

I was not told about this when it was proscribed to me. I tryed stopping and WOW the worst feelings ever!!! Withdrawls are no joke.

i was on prozac for a bit and about 3 weeks in i started to cut myself so i stopped immediately. I will never take it again

Fluoxotine is probably better than Paxil/ Aropax, far easier to stop taking

now they say you cant suddenly stop, the package says "these are not addictive" and no doctor believes in the withdrawals... it is true.

ssri save millions more than they kill if you can prove otherwise the onus is on you making these accusations.
