I would like to step into this argument at this point with my expert knowledge. The lava in this particular video happens to be precisely the temperature of my anus after eating last nights seafood laksa which i happened to garnish with particularly many chillies. It burnt, I wouldnt not recommend it too many times in a month. My anus is still recovering. @S1587915G with fire walking your foot is only exposed to the coals for maybe half a second and the charcoal and ash on top are a good insulator with trying to wade through lava you would be exposed to it for far longer and there is nothing to insulate you from 2500 degrees

But there are also cases of firewalking in which people walk on hot rocks. The rocks are so hot they glow. Don't think there's any ash to insulate you this time -- assuming in the first place the ash insulation theory holds any... heat.

The lava continuously flows due to density and temperature differences. Generally, the bright lines is hotter lava rising to the surface. The darker lava will eventually sink and dissolve again.
