Thank you to everyone for the support of this new legislation. Although California Prop 2 creates a minimal improvement in the lives of factory farm animals, it proves that people recognize the need for compassion to animals.
the video distorts the meaning of prop 2. prop 2 makes farm owners make enough room for animals to be able to have enough room to lay stretch. stuff like that. I speak for the dairy industry and they do a fantastic job of doing that now. prop 2 is pointless for cattle. this vid distorts by showing animal cruelty by physical abuse. running over an animal with a forklift and an animal not having enough laying down room are two different issues and should not be combined to make a selling point.
BRAVO ON BOTH PROP 2 VIDEOS! They really show it like it is. I can't even believe this is happening and so many don't even know. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you on voting day. My heart is saddened thinking about the suffering that is going on as I head to my soft bed while these farm animals can't even move in these horrible cages and chains.
