I don't know where they found their rocks but I get mine from local river banks..Good rocks aren't hard to find. Just make sure to get non porous rocks that are clean looking from decently clean water. Just make sure you clean them well before adding them to a tank especially if there's already fish in it.

They are smooth black landscaping stones that you can probably get at a hardware store. I got them from my neighbors who was re-landscaping and didn't need them :-)
